Kandulski meeting.

Sorry for not posting yesterday, we're still in the midst of this health insurance nightmare and I just didn't feel like writing.

We had our weekly Kandulski meeting with Zbyszek and spent most of our time talking about our problem and possible resolutions for it. I, personally, see only one option, to return to NFZ after we take the necessary steps to resolve the issue. It makes me extremely mad that we had no part in the mistake but we suffer the consequences.

Hi david and Joan, sorry to hear that you have so many problems with Polish residency, in poland if you ask somebody for advise you get different answers, one thing I have learned in poland is to get professional paid advice when doing anything serious, I suspect what you should have done is get polish residency in your own right ie polish parents and Joan could then use your status to get residency... it's hard to comment if hospital cover is important in poland, expect to say that for example open heart surgery without medical cover would be very expensive. My friends tell me that in poland the accommodation is better in the undertakers than the hospital.
David stay positive, there must be a simple solution to your problems
    Regard, keep safe...

  2. Anonymous,
I do have stałego Karte Pobytu but now, since May 1, Joan can only get a European Union Karte Pobytu. Don't ask me why, I suspect it's because of EU influence. At our age, hospital coverage, even in Poland, is important. Thanks for writing.
