Just a thought about the possibility of acquiring real estate properties in rural Poland, just be aware that laws can be very complex when buying and selling real estate in Poland, if by chance you decide to sell the land within I think 4 years, a 40%(or similar) is what you need to pay of the sale price in capital gains tax, Legal fees and registration are also not come cheap. Price of real estate in rural areas have also fallen. You may want to perhaps build a house yourself and live in this area, it may be a good idea.
