Fortunately (well, relatively-speaking), it<br />turned out to be thousands of plastic balls to deflect sunlight to deter algae<br />formation. However, given that there's been warnings for decades as to the <br />toxicity of drinking water stored in certain plastic bottles (likely, all plastic,<br />eventually), it can't be a good thing either, for this many plastic balls stewing<br />like teabags under the CA sun!<br /><br />The minute mankind started mucking with nature through chemical manipulation and<br />so-called "high-tech" solutions, has pretty much, spelled our doom and decline, the<br />way I see it. We don't have to live like cavemen, but we sure as heck need better<br />treatment of the natural environment-- everywhere-- than we have been doing to it, in the name of science, "progress", and/or corporate greed!<br /><br />I hope Poland (and other Euro countries) do not give in to becoming corporate backwaters for toxics, like so much which has been allowed to happen in the U.S.GoogleGagglerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05600528100690508526noreply@blogger.com
