A new president.

We went to bed early and got up at 4AM to watch the results. Already Obama was head in the electoral college and that was good to hear. An hour later he had 338 votes, more than enough to win the presidency. What a great and historical time for America. The last time I can remember such excitement was for John F. Kennedy. Now maybe the country will go in a new direction and regain all it has lost in the last 8 years under the Bush administration. Now our hope is that he remains safe and healthy for the next four years and keeps the promises he has made.


Poszliśmy do łóżka wcześnie i wstaliśmy przy 4AM by obserwować wyniki. Już Obama był głowa w kolegium elektorskim i które było dobre by usłyszeć. Godzina później on miał 338 głosów, więcej niż dość by wygrać prezydenturę. Jaki wielki i historyczny czas dla Ameryki. Ostatnim razem mogę zapamiętać, że takie podniecenie było dla Johna F. Kennedy. Teraz być może kraj będzie wchodzić nowy kierunek i będzie odzyskiwać wszystko to straciło w poprzednich 8 latach pod administracją prezydenta Busha. Teraz nasza nadzieja jest, że on pozostaje bezpiecznym i zdrowym na następne cztery lata i spełni obietnice, które on zrobił.
