On October 12, Ukraine lost Valeriia Stepanova, callsign “Demon,” a Ukrainian soldier, FPV drone pilot, and mother. She was killed by a Russian drone while carrying out a combat mission. Her children have lost their mother. Ukraine has lost a brave defender. We will remember her courage, her service, and her willingness to speak the truth.
