2 options.

Well, there are two options to obtain Polish citizenship but really only one for me. The first is the usual of filling out the form, a photograph, proof of birth, proof of marriage, parents, etc. paying the fee, proof of identity, proof of residence and an official certificate confirming use of conversational Polish. That is the one that stops option one for me. Even after 9 years, I do not have conversational Polish certificate. So that takes me to option two. This does not require the certificate but does require additional documents which I already have. These years of family research have given me plenty of documentation of family history in Poland connected directly to me. I'm going to meet with the person who handles these matters and start the procedure as soon as I fill out the form, get the documents together and get a new photograph. I thought surely it would be necessary to know Polish history but there is no mention of it in the requirements. I don't know how long it will take, it doesn't matter.

Cóż, istnieją dwie możliwości uzyskania polskiego obywatelstwa, ale dla mnie tak naprawdę tylko jedna. Pierwszą z nich jest zwykłe  wypełnienie formularza i dodanie załączników: fotografii, dowodu urodzenia, dowodu ślubu rodziców , uiszczenia opłaty, dowodu  tożsamości, dowodu zamieszkania i oficjalnego certyfikatu potwierdzającego używanie języka polskiego w stopniu komunikatywnym. Ten ostatni załącznik zamyka przede mną pierwszą opcję. Nawet po 9. latach, nie mam takiego certyfikatu. Więc pozostaje wariant drugi, gdzie nie ma wymogu certyfikatu, ale  wymagane są dodatkowe dokumenty, które już mam. Te lata badań nad dziejami rodziny dały mi mnóstwo dokumentów  z historii rodziny w Polsce bezpośrednio łączących się ze mną. Mam zamiar spotkać się z osobą, która zajmuje się takimi sprawami i rozpocząć procedurę jak tylko wypełnię formularz, zepnę razem dokumenty  i zrobię nowe zdjęcie. Myślałem, że konieczna będzie znajomość polskiej historii, ale wśród warunkach uzyskania obywatelstwa nie ma o tym wzmianki . Nie wiem, jak długo to potrwa, to nie ma znaczenia.
