It's out.

Last night, after 3 injections of novocaine, I had the bad tooth removed. The anticipation of the event was more stressful than the actual event. I guess I still have the first visit to the dentist at age 5 to have a filling put in. My brother told me not to take novocaine, it wouldn't hurt too much. He was wrong and I can still see the old drill setup with cables. It hurt like hell. Now, it is not painful. The cost was 300 PLN($78).

I met with Radek today. He's changed his mind about going to Ecuador in January, Checking the internet he found that he would be there during the rainy season with days having a 60-65% chance of rain. That's not good. Checking further, he found that Costa Rica has a temperature average of 30C, more to his liking, so that is where he is going. He leaves on the 21st, a day before we leave for Spain.

I did buy the new floor lamp in Ikea, cost 40 PLN($10.34). You would think being founded in Sweden in 1943 by 17-year-old Ingvar Kamprad. the furniture would come from there. Our lamp was made in China. IKEA has been the world's largest furniture retailer since 2008.  As of January 2018, Kamprad was the eighth richest person in the world, with an estimated net worth of US$58.7 billion.

Ubiegłego wieczoru, po 3 zastrzykach nowokainy, usunięto mi ząb. Oczekiwanie na to zdarzenie było bardziej stresujące niż samo zdarzenie. Myślę, że pierwszą wizytę u dentysty odbyłem w wieku 5 lat, aby założyć plombę. Mój brat powiedział mi, żebym nie brał nowokainy, że zbytnio nie będzie bolało. Mylił się i nadal widzę stary zestaw wierteł z kablami. To boli jak diabli. Teraz to nie jest bolesne. Koszt wyniósł 300 zł (78 dolarów).

Dzisiaj spotkałem się z Radkiem. Zmienił zdanie na temat wyjazdu w styczniu do Ekwadoru. Przeszukując Internet stwierdził, że byłby tam w porze deszczowej, kiedy szansa na deszcz w te dni wynosi 60-65%. To niedobrze. Sprawdzając dalej, odkrył, że Kostaryka ma średnią temperaturę 30 stopni Celsjusza, co bardziej mu się podoba, więc tam będzie zmierzać. Wyjeżdża 21., dzień przed wyjazdem do Hiszpanii.

Kupiłem nową lampę podłogową w Ikei, kosztowała 40 zł (10,34$). Można by pomyśleć, czy meble z założonej w Szwecji w 1943 roku przez 17-letniego Ingvara Kamprada firmy dotrą tutaj. Nasza lampa została wykonana w Chinach. IKEA jest największym na świecie sprzedawcą mebli od 2008 roku. Od stycznia 2018 roku Kamprad stał się ósmą najbogatszą osobą na świecie, z szacowanym majątkiem o wartości netto 58,7 mld USD.
