A Tale of 2 days.

Actually, it started 2 1/2 days ago. Last Thursday morning, after I shopped, returned home to read emails, and enter the shopping cost into a budget I keep, I turned off my Dell laptop. Later that afternoon, I turned it on again. However, this time my screen only told me I needed to reboot my laptop. I did that several times with no progress. For the next 3 hours, I searched the internet to try to fix the problem. I had to do that on my backup laptop, ASUS, which is very, very slow and so, frustrating.

Finally, I found out how to do a pre-boot assessment of the Dell which told me my hard drive was no longer connected. In essence, my hard drive was dead. Fortunately, I keep all of my important documents on an external drive. My only recourse was to take the Dell to a repair shop where I bought it. I did that on Friday morning. Later that afternoon, they called to confirm my hard drive was dead and that I would need a new one. Also, I would need Win10 replaced.

Today, I picked up the Dell, brought it home, and was going to add the additional programs I use via the internet. That was when a new problem occurred. In order to get an internet connection to my Inea provider, I had to use my security sign-on key, and one of the characters I use is the # sign. I typed in the key, but it didn't work. When I looked at the sign-in, instead of having #, it had a £ sign. The key where those signs are is the number 3 and the £ sign on the bottom but on the top of the key is the # sign. I have always just used the shift button to get the right sign but now it would only give me the £  sign. I tried every combination I could think of but nothing worked. Finally, I packed up the Dell and Joan, went back to the repair shop, and told them the problem. The salesman tried to fix it and in the end, he had to get his technician to fix the key problem It turned out that when they loaded Win10, they put in the British English language program and not the American English program. That is what caused the change to the key.

Back home, I eagerly tried to log in to Inea with the correct security key but still, it didn't work. I called Inea but only a salesperson answered and had no idea how to fix the problem. Again, searching on the old ASUS, I finally found Emilia, a service person from Inea who did a fantastic job of correcting the problem. It is because of her that you are reading this now after my absence,

W艂a艣ciwie to zacz臋艂o si臋 2 i p贸艂 dnia temu. P贸藕nym popo艂udniem w艂膮czy艂em go ponownie. Jednak tym razem m贸j ekran poinformowa艂 mnie jedynie o konieczno艣ci ponownego uruchomienia laptopa. Zrobi艂em to kilka razy bez rezultatu. Przez nast臋pne 3 godziny przeszukiwa艂em internet, aby spr贸bowa膰 naprawi膰 problem.

W zasadzie m贸j dysk twardy by艂 martwy. Moim jedynym wyj艣ciem by艂o zabranie Della do serwisu, w kt贸rym go kupi艂em. Zrobi艂em to w pi膮tek rano. P贸藕niej tego popo艂udnia, zadzwonili do mnie, by  potwierdzi膰, 偶e dysk twardy pad艂 i 偶e b臋d臋 musia艂 mie膰 nowy. Ponadto, b臋d臋 potrzebowa艂 wymiany Win10.

Dzisiaj odebra艂em Della, przynios艂em go do domu i zamierza艂em doda膰 dodatkowe programy, kt贸rych u偶ywam przez internet. Wtedy pojawi艂 si臋 nowy problem. W ko艅cu spakowa艂em Della, zabra艂em Joan, wr贸ci艂em do serwisu i powiedzia艂em im o problemie. Sprzedawca pr贸bowa艂 go naprawi膰 i w ko艅cu musia艂 zawo艂a膰 swojego technika, aby rozwi膮za膰 problem z kluczem.  Okaza艂o si臋, 偶e kiedy za艂adowali Win10 to z brytyjsk膮 wersj膮 j臋zyka angielskiego. To w艂a艣nie spowodowa艂o zmian臋 w kluczu.

Ponownie pos艂uguj膮c si臋 starym ASUS-em, w ko艅cu znalaz艂em Emili臋, osob臋 z serwisu Inea, kt贸ra wykona艂a fantastyczn膮 prac臋, aby pozby膰 si臋 problemu. To dzi臋ki niej czytacie to teraz po mojej nieobecno艣ci, En realidad, empez贸 hace dos d铆as y medio.

Siempre he utilizado la tecla de may煤sculas para obtener el signo correcto pero ahora s贸lo me daba el signo de £.
