Bags.

8 years ago Joan and I bought 3 shopping bags made of jute and they are finally wearing out. Unfortunately the store where we bought them is out of business now. I contacted the manufacturer in Torun, Greenbag, and a representative in Poznań gave me a list a several stores that handle their bags but we found the polipropylen ones, not made of jute. Those are not as durable. So I wrote another email to him asking if I can order them directly from the company and am waiting for his answer.

We met with Zbyszek today and talked about world politics, similarities about governments, a 50th wedding anniversary ceremony he attended, aging, our future plans and a few other things.

This computers fan is making noises now and I think it needs to be replaced. I was going to take it to Samsung to do it but Zbyszek said MediaMart in thesame plaza where we shop recently opened and he had some work done there. He was happy with what they did and the cost so he recommended I go there. I will. Samsung will charge more just because of the name.

An hour later, the rep. replied they no longer handle jute bags, only polipropylen and 100% cotton. I replied "how much for the cotton bags"?


8 lat temu Joan i ja kupiliśmy 3 torby na zakupy wykonane z juty, które wreszcie się zużyły. Niestety sklep, w którym je kupiliśmy, jest już nieczynny. Skontaktowałem się z producentem w Toruniu, Greenbag, a przedstawiciel w Poznaniu podał mi listę kilku sklepów, które handlują ich torbami, ale znaleźliśmy torby wykonane z polipropylenu, a nie z juty. Te nie są tak trwałe. Napisałem więc do niego kolejną wiadomość e-mail z zapytaniem, czy mogę zamówić je bezpośrednio od firmy i czekam na jego odpowiedź.

Dzisiaj spotkaliśmy się ze Zbyszkiem i rozmawialiśmy o polityce światowej, podobieństwach dotyczących rządów, o 50. rocznicy ślubu, w której uczestniczył, starzeniu się, naszych przyszłych planach i kilku innych rzeczach.


Wiatrak w komputerze hałasuje i myślę, że trzeba go wymienić. Miałem zamiar zabrać go do Samsunga, ale Zbyszek powiedział, że Media Markt zostały ostatnio otwarte w tej samej galerii, gdzie robimy zakupy i miał tam wykonane pewne usługi. Był zadowolony z tego, co zrobili i z kosztów, więc polecił mi tam pojechać. Tak zrobię. Samsung nalicza opłatę tylko ze względu na nazwę.

Godzinę później przyszła odpowiedź, że już nie handlują workami z juty, tylko polipropylenowymi i 100% z bawełny. Odpowiedziałem na to : "ile za torby bawełniane"?
