Busy day.

It was. Joan was in the kitchen by 8:30 and we had scrambled eggs, chorizo sausage, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, bread and coffee for breakfast and then we went food shopping for the week. This time we spent 151PLN($40) including meats and bread from Piotr & Paweł.

While she was making breakfast, I purchased 2 tickets, online, to the cinema in the Plaza to see the movie, Bohemian Rhapsody. It's the new film about Freddie Mercury and the band, Queen. Being Thursday and most people in work or school, I chose the 15:00 showing. When it showed the seats available, only four were taken. It was like we almost had the whole cinema to ourselves except for the other four people.

I thought the movie itself was well done and told the story of the band and it's leader. Seeing it on a big screen with a good sound system was worth the $4.50 cost per ticket. The performance of Rami Malik as Freddie was excellent and you could tell he must have studied a lot of old films to get Freddie's movements down. I would recommend seeing it.

For November in Poland it was a nice day with a temperature of 56F and sunny. So far, the prediction of the worst winter ever hasn't shown it's face yet. Could the weather forecasters be wrong? :-)

Kiedy robiła śniadanie, kupiłem online 2 bilety do kina w Plaza, aby zobaczyć film Bohemian Rhapsody. To nowy film o Freddie Mercury i zespole Queen. Dziś czwartek i większość ludzi jest w pracy lub szkole, więc wybrałem seans o 15:00. Kiedy na ekranie pokazały się dostępne miejsca, zajęte były tylko cztery. Wyglądało tak, jakbyśmy mieli prawie całe kino dla siebie, z wyjątkiem pozostałych czterech osób.

Myślałem, że film jest dobrze zrobiony i opowiada historię zespołu i jego lidera. Oglądanie go na dużym ekranie z dobrym dźwiękiem kosztowało 4,50 USD za bilet. Występ Rami Malik jako Freddie był znakomity i można było by powiedzieć, że musiał oglądać wiele starych nagrań, aby opanować poruszanie się Freddiego. Polecam zobaczenie filmu.

Jak na listopad w Polsce był to przyjemny, słoneczny dzień z temperaturą 56F (13C). Jak dotąd, przewidywania najgorszej zimy w historii jeszcze się nie sprawdziły. Czy prognozy pogody mogą być błędne? :-)
