After spending 200 PLN($48) for next week's food, I decided to spend the day with Joan watching 5 of the Oscar-nominated movies. Of the 5 we watched, only 2 of them were worth watching, Coda and King Richard. The standard for good movies has certainly come down a lot this past year. The other 3 movies, Dune, Licorice Pizza, and West Side Story were boring.
Thankfully, I had enough left-over lasagna sp I didn't have to make something different for dinner.
Po wydaniu 200 zł na jedzenie na przyszły tydzień, postanowiłem spędzić dzień z Joan, oglądając 5 filmów nominowanych do Oscara. Z tych pięciu filmów, które obejrzeliśmy, tylko dwa były warte obejrzenia: Coda i Król Ryszard. Standardy dla dobrych filmów z pewnością bardzo się obniżyły w ciągu ostatniego roku. Pozostałe 3 filmy, Diuna, Licorice Pizza i West Side Story, były nudne.
Na szczęście miałam wystarczająco dużo resztek lasagne, żeby nie musieć przygotowywać czegoś innego na kolację.
Después de gastar 200 PLN (48 dólares) para la comida de la próxima semana, decidí pasar el día con Joan viendo 5 de las películas nominadas al Oscar. De las 5 que vimos, sólo 2 merecieron la pena, Coda y King Richard. El nivel de las buenas películas ha bajado mucho este último año. Las otras 3 películas, Dune, Pizza de Regaliz y West Side Story fueron aburridas.
Por suerte, me sobró suficiente lasaña para no tener que hacer algo diferente para la cena.
