New York District Attorney Cyrus Vance, defending grand jury-issued subpoenas, to obtain President Donald Trump's tax returns, suggested Monday that the purpose was for a wider investigation of “protracted criminal conduct” at the Trumpp Organization.
The comments came as part of a court filing as Trump’s legal team challenges the subpoenas. The Supreme Court earlier this year rejected arguments made by the president’s lawyers that he had blanket immunity from prosecution.
Trump is doing everything he can to make his believers already think the election is a fraud. He constantly complains about mail-in voting but yet he and his wife use mail-in ballots to vote in Florida. What a hypocrite!
Now he is telling Americans to vote twice, once by mail-in and another at their voting place. It is against the law to vote twice but here you have a fake President telling them to do it.
While the COVID-19 crisis means that more Americans than ever will be using mail-in voting to cast a ballot, the voting method is widely regarded as safe and reliable by experts.
In response to Trump’s remarks, North Carolina’s Board of Elections issued a statement clarifying that voting twice is a Class I felony in the state.
“It is illegal to vote twice in an election,” said Karen Brinson Bell, executive director of the North Carolina State Board of Elections.
“… Attempting to vote twice in an election or soliciting someone to do so also is a violation of North Carolina law.”

ReplyDeleteOnline betting is about as useless as polls in projecting who will win. I have every right to vote in this election because, unlike you, I am a U.S.citizen. My intentions have nothing to do with that but then, you wouldn't know that. What right do Poles living in the U.S. have voting in Polish elections?
