Channels.

I forgot to mention the serviceman from Echostar was here last Thursday and in 10 minutes we had all of the channels back. We decided to expand our viewing capabilities so we are trying out Netflix for one month. The cost is 43 PLN($9) It opens up a whole new possibility for view movies we have never seen. We watched a new movie for us called, "Sleepers". It was an interesting story about 4 boyhood friends and what happened to them as they grew up. It starred Robert DeNiro, Brad Pitt, and Dustin Hoffman.

My American friend found an English-speaking doctor at Medicover who enrolled him for vaccination.  I'm happy for him.

It's 9:00 and I have a load of clothes in the washing machine, I'm making the German pancake for breakfast, and Joan is ready to get out of bed. I make the perfect housewife. :-) After breakfast, I will wash the bathroom floor and give Joan a shower.

Actually, after breakfast, I had two Skype conversations, sat down in a recliner, and fell asleep for 2 hours. I was just exhausted this morning. I guess the bad sleep habits over the last few months caught up with me. When I woke up, I put the clothes on the drying rack on the balcony and in 2 hours they were dry. it's only 14C but sunny. For the next 3 days, it is predicted to be 22C.

Covid-19 new cases are fluctuating between 6,000-2,000 daily. Still, that's better than the 30,000 a month ago. Let's hope they keep going down. Another 10 days and Joan will get her second Moderna shot.

Zapomniałem wspomnieć, że serwisant z Echostar był tutaj w zeszły czwartek i w ciągu 10 minut mieliśmy wszystkie kanały z powrotem. Postanowiliśmy rozszerzyć nasze możliwości oglądania, więc wypróbowujemy Netflix przez jeden miesiąc. Koszt to 43 PLN (9$) Otwiera to zupełnie nowe możliwości oglądania filmów, których nigdy nie widzieliśmy. Obejrzeliśmy nowy dla nas film o nazwie "Sleepers". Była to ciekawa historia o 4 przyjaciołach z dzieciństwa i o tym, co się z nimi stało, gdy dorastali. Wystąpili w nim Robert DeNiro, Brad Pitt i Dustin Hoffman.

Mój amerykański przyjaciel znalazł anglojęzycznego lekarza w Medicover, który zapisał go na szczepienie.  Cieszę się z jego szczęścia.

Jest 9:00, a ja mam w pralce ładunek ubrań, robię na śniadanie niemieckie naleśniki, a Joan jest gotowa wstać z łóżka. Jestem idealną gospodynią domową :-) Po śniadaniu umyję podłogę w łazience i wezmę prysznic dla Joanny.

Właściwie to po śniadaniu przeprowadziłem dwie rozmowy na Skype, usiadłem w fotelu i zasnąłem na 2 godziny. Byłem po prostu wyczerpany dziś rano. Myślę, że złe nawyki senne z ostatnich kilku miesięcy dopadły mnie. Kiedy się obudziłem, położyłem ubrania na suszarce na balkonie i w ciągu 2 godzin były suche. jest tylko 14C, ale słonecznie. Na najbliższe 3 dni zapowiadane są 22C.

Covid-19 nowych przypadków waha się między 6,000-2,000 dziennie. To i tak lepiej niż 30.000 miesiąc temu. Miejmy nadzieję, że nadal będą spadać. Jeszcze 10 dni i Joan dostanie swój drugi zastrzyk Moderny.

Se me olvidó mencionar que el técnico de Echostar estuvo aquí el jueves pasado y en 10 minutos teníamos de nuevo todos los canales. Hemos decidido ampliar nuestras posibilidades de visionado, así que vamos a probar Netflix durante un mes. El coste es de 43 PLN (9 dólares). Nos abre una nueva posibilidad de ver películas que nunca hemos visto. Vimos una película nueva para nosotros llamada "Sleepers". Era una historia interesante sobre 4 amigos de la infancia y lo que les ocurrió al crecer. Está protagonizada por Robert DeNiro, Brad Pitt y Dustin Hoffman.

Mi amigo americano encontró un médico de habla inglesa en Medicover que lo inscribió para la vacunación.  Me alegro por él.

Son las 9:00 y tengo una carga de ropa en la lavadora, estoy preparando la tortita alemana para el desayuno y Joan está lista para salir de la cama. Soy la perfecta ama de casa. :-) Después del desayuno, lavo el suelo del baño y le doy una ducha a Joan.

En realidad, después del desayuno, he tenido dos conversaciones por Skype, me he sentado en un sillón reclinable y me he dormido durante 2 horas. Esta mañana estaba agotada. Supongo que los malos hábitos de sueño de los últimos meses me alcanzaron. Cuando me he despertado, he puesto la ropa en el tendedero del balcón y en 2 horas estaba seca. Para los próximos 3 días se pronostican 22C.

Los nuevos casos de Covid-19 están fluctuando entre 6.000-2.000 diarios. Aun así, es mejor que los 30.000 de hace un mes. Esperemos que sigan bajando. Otros 10 días y Joan recibirá su segunda inyección de Moderna.
