WOW!

I can't believe it! I slept 10 straight hours last night. Maybe it was a little make-up for all the nights I didn't sleep much or just totally exhausted.  Whatever! However, I missed a conversation because of it and have to reschedule it.

One negative aspect of this new TV is that it doesn't recognize files that have a .mkv or .avi extension. Most of the files on our external drives have them. Seems rather ridiculous that it doesn't for a new TV. So. that means a lot of conversions have to take place.

With the CDC in the U.S. declaring that anyone completely vaccinated no longer needs to wear a mask, I don't think it will be long before Poland declares the same. I just hope it is based on the number of cases here going down, not just because the U.S. is doing it. It's a little colder tonight so I made the vegetarian bulgar chili for dinner.

Oh, did I mention the postman delivered Joan's tax return money yesterday, 531 PLN($141). I thought it odd that I didn't get mine since we made a joint return.

Nie mogę w to uwierzyć! Ostatniej nocy spałam 10 godzin bez przerwy. Może to był mały make-up za wszystkie noce, w których nie spałam zbyt wiele, albo po prostu byłam całkowicie wyczerpana.  Nieważne! Jednakże, przegapiłem rozmowę z tego powodu i muszę ją przełożyć.

Jednym z negatywnych aspektów tego nowego telewizora jest to, że nie rozpoznaje on plików z rozszerzeniem .mkv lub .avi. Większość plików na naszych dyskach zewnętrznych je posiada. Wydaje się dość absurdalne, że nie ma ich w nowym telewizorze. Oznacza to, że trzeba dokonać wielu konwersji.

Skoro CDC w USA ogłosiło, że każdy całkowicie zaszczepiony nie musi już nosić maski, nie sądzę, że minie dużo czasu zanim Polska ogłosi to samo. Mam tylko nadzieję, że będzie to oparte na spadku liczby zachorowań u nas, a nie tylko na tym, że USA tak robi. Dzisiaj jest trochę chłodniej, więc zrobiłam wegetariańskie bulgar chili na kolację.

Aha, czy wspomniałem, że listonosz dostarczył wczoraj pieniądze Joanny z rozliczenia podatkowego, 531 zł ($141). Pomyślałem, że to dziwne, że ja nie dostałem swoich, skoro złożyliśmy wspólne zeznanie.

No puedo creerlo. Anoche dormí 10 horas seguidas. Tal vez fue un poco de maquillaje por todas las noches que no dormí mucho o simplemente estoy totalmente agotada.  Lo que sea. Sin embargo, me perdí una conversación por ello y tengo que reprogramarla.

Un aspecto negativo de este nuevo televisor es que no reconoce los archivos con extensión .mkv o .avi. La mayoría de los archivos de nuestras unidades externas las tienen. Parece bastante ridículo que no lo haga para un nuevo televisor. Así que eso significa que hay que hacer muchas conversiones.

Ahora que el CDC de EE.UU. ha declarado que cualquier persona completamente vacunada ya no necesita llevar mascarilla, no creo que pase mucho tiempo antes de que Polonia declare lo mismo. Sólo espero que se base en que el número de casos aquí está bajando, y no sólo porque los EE.UU. lo están haciendo. Esta noche hace un poco más de frío, así que he hecho chile bulgar vegetariano para cenar.

Ah, ¿he mencionado que el cartero entregó ayer el dinero de la declaración de la renta de Joan, 531 PLN (141 dólares). Me pareció raro que yo no recibiera el mío ya que hicimos una declaración conjunta.
