Sitting in front of Plac Wolnośći, drinking coffee and watching the people has become our favorite place on days when the weather is perfect. The chairs are comfortable and the coffee is cheap, two good combinations.

Today I couldn't stop thinking how everyone was enjoying the day, playing with the kids, walking around like nothing was happening. There was a small group of people protesting the treatment of animals and I coulnd't help but wonder why weren't they protesting the treatment of humans in climate change. The average person still doesn't get it. Oblivious to what will affect the lives of their own children but willing to protest against treatment of animals. 35C & 38C last week and 45C in France and still no massive protests to governments to change to course. When will the big and little countries understand what they are doing to the planet? Why is there no civil unrest about this problem? How long can you keep your head buried in the sand before you can't breathe?

Była niewielka grupa ludzi protestujących przeciwko traktowaniu zwierząt i nie mogę pomóc, ale zastanawiam się, dlaczego nie protestowali przeciwko traktowaniu ludzi w zmianach klimatu. Przeciętny człowiek nadal tego nie rozumie. Nieświadomi tego, co wpłynie na życie ich własnych dzieci, ale chce protestować przeciwko traktowaniu zwierząt. 35C i 38C w zeszłym tygodniu i 45C we Francji i nadal nie ma masowych protestów dla rządów, aby zmienić kurs. Kiedy duże i małe kraje zrozumieją, co robią na planecie? Dlaczego nie ma niepokojów społecznych w związku z tym problemem? Jak długo możesz schować głowę w piasku, zanim nie będziesz mógł oddychać?
