Good morning!

Today I experimented with the blender and blended 2 tomatoes on the slowest speed. It came out just like the mixture in Spain. I went to Chata Polska, bought 2 long, cheese buns, brought them home, cut them in half, toasted them, dripped olive oil on them, put on the tomato mixture, a little salt and served them to Joan for breakfast. All we needed was the view of the sea in front of us so I put a video of the beach in Santiago with sound on our large screen TV. It was a good breakfast morning. :-)

I passed another practice test, this time with a score of 32, no mistakes.

Spent a nice couple of hours on this beautiful day sitting in Plac Wolności watching people go by, talking with Joan and enjoying the afternoon. There was one little girl about 3 years old trying to run all over the place while her 5 years old sister held her hand. It was amusing to see them running together.  Then there were the 3 middle-aged men on the bench, inebriated, passing around 1 bottle of beer. One of them tried to stand up but couldn't quite get up. Several times people passed around the Plac on those electric scooters that are for rent now all over the city.  In some places, there are even motor scooters available. We always sit in a spot that gives us a full view of the Plac and the ugly fountain at the opposite end of it. The fountain has a very modern design but we very much dislike it. It doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the architecture surrounding it. We have the same feeling for the small shopping center built a few years ago just up the street from the fountain.

Dzisiaj eksperymentowałem z blenderem i miksowałem 2 pomidory na najniższej prędkości. Wyszło tak jak miks w Hiszpanii. Poszedłem do Chata Polska, kupiłem 2 długie, serowe bułeczki, przyniosłem je do domu, pokroiłem na pół, opiekłem je, skropiłem oliwą z oliwek, włożyłem mieszankę pomidorową, trochę soli i podałem Joan na śniadanie. Wszystko, czego potrzebowaliśmy, to widok na morze przed nami, więc umieściłem wideo z plaży w Santiago z dźwiękiem na naszym dużym telewizorze. To był dobry poranek na śniadanie. :-)

Zdałem kolejny test próbny, tym razem z wynikiem 32, bez błędów.

Spędziłem miło kilka godzin w tym pięknym dniu siedząc na Placu Wolności, obserwując ludzi, rozmawiając z Joan i ciesząc się popołudniem. Jedna dziewczynka w wieku około 3 lat próbowała biegać po tym miejscu, podczas gdy jej 5-letnia siostra trzymała ją za rękę. Zabawnie było widzieć, jak biegną razem. Potem na ławce siedziało trzech mężczyzn w średnim wieku, upojeni alkoholem, podających 1 butelkę piwa. Jeden z nich próbował wstać, ale nie mógł wstać. Kilka razy ludzie przemieszczali się po Placu na elektrycznych skuterach, które są teraz do wynajęcia w całym mieście. W niektórych miejscach dostępne są nawet skutery. Zawsze siedzimy w miejscu, które daje nam pełny widok Placu i brzydkiej fontanny na przeciwległym końcu. Fontanna ma bardzo nowoczesny design, ale bardzo jej nie lubimy. Wygląda na to, że nie pasuje do reszty otaczającej go architektury. To samo dotyczy małego centrum handlowego zbudowanego kilka lat temu tuż przy fontannie.
