The U.S. State Department said Saturday that Poland is now allowing Americans to enter the country by land from Ukraine without advance approval, as the U.S. encouraged its citizens to leave Ukraine immediately with Russian forces believed to be ready to invade the country at any moment.
To enter Poland through the land border with Ukraine, U.S. citizens must present a valid U.S. passport and proof of Covid-19 vaccination, the State Department said in a statement.
The U.S. is deploying 4,700 troops from the 82nd Airborne Division to Poland, where they’re expected to aid Americans evacuating from Ukraine by land, as well as provide security reassurance for Poland and other NATO members.
Departament Stanu USA ogłosił w sobotę, że Polska pozwala teraz Amerykanom na wjazd do kraju drogą lądową z Ukrainy bez uprzedniej zgody, po tym jak USA zachęcał swoich obywateli do natychmiastowego opuszczenia Ukrainy z powodu rosyjskich sił uważanych za gotowych do inwazji na ten kraj w każdej chwili.
Aby wjechać do Polski przez granicę lądową z Ukrainą, obywatele USA muszą przedstawić ważny paszport amerykański i dowód szczepienia Covid-19 - podał Departament Stanu w oświadczeniu.
Stany Zjednoczone wysyłają do Polski 4,700 żołnierzy z 82 Dywizji Powietrznodesantowej, którzy mają pomóc Amerykanom ewakuującym się z Ukrainy drogą lądową, a także zapewnić bezpieczeństwo Polsce i innym członkom NATO.
El Departamento de Estado de EE.UU. dijo el sábado que Polonia permite ahora a los estadounidenses entrar en el país por tierra desde Ucrania sin aprobación previa, ya que EE.UU. alentó a sus ciudadanos a salir de Ucrania inmediatamente con las fuerzas rusas que se cree que están listas para invadir el país en cualquier momento.

ReplyDeleteAnd, WHAT's happened to those hundreds, if not thousands of refugees that have been stuck on the border between Belarus & Poland. This latest border issue re: Ukraine, cannot be good news for them! There seems to be a virtual media blackout about these looming crises (esp. in the U.S. Media)-- hope Polish people are being apprised of what's really going on in that eastern section of their borderlands.
