Thursday is the day when I get up at 6:00 in the morning to do food shopping. Why 06:00? It started with the pandemic and wanting to avoid people. Now, there are NO restrictions but I like being one of the very few people in the store. I usually and done in 45 minutes to 1 hour at the most. I am fairly acquainted now with Carrefour in the Panorama shopping center so it is much easier to know where everything is. I usually then go to Lidl to buy fruits and vegetables because they have a bigger selection. The cost for this coming week's food was 172 PLN($40)
Other than food shopping, there wasn't much else going on except picking up the results of my blood type. I already knew what it was but I needed an official document for the hospital.
During the first Cold War, the local government thought it was a good idea to have children's blood type tattooed on the side of the body. Oddly enough, my one-room schoolhouse was the only one that did it. Later in life I thought maybe I was part of a government experiment,
Czwartek to dzień, w którym wstaję o 6:00 rano, aby zrobić zakupy spożywcze. Dlaczego o 6:00? Zaczęło się od pandemii i chęci uniknięcia ludzi. Teraz nie ma żadnych ograniczeń, ale lubię być jedną z niewielu osób w sklepie. Zwykle robię zakupy w ciągu 45 minut, a maksymalnie 1 godziny. Jestem już dość dobrze zaznajomiony z Carrefourem w centrum handlowym Panorama, więc o wiele łatwiej jest mi się zorientować, gdzie co jest. Zwykle potem idę do Lidla, żeby kupić owoce i warzywa, bo mają tam większy wybór. Koszt jedzenia na najbliższy tydzień wyniósł 172 PLN (40 USD).
Poza zakupami spożywczymi nie działo się wiele więcej, poza odebraniem wyników badań mojej grupy krwi. Wiedziałem już, jaka jest, ale potrzebowałem oficjalnego dokumentu dla szpitala.
W czasie pierwszej zimnej wojny władze lokalne uznały, że dobrym pomysłem jest tatuowanie dzieciom grupy krwi na boku ciała. Co dziwne, tylko w mojej jednopokojowej szkole tak robiono. W późniejszym okresie życia pomyślałem, że może jestem częścią eksperymentu rządowego,

Ahora, NO hay restricciones pero me gusta ser una de las pocas personas en la tienda. Por lo general, y hecho en 45 minutos a 1 hora como máximo.
