Interesting story.

In the Springtime, hydrangeas have many colors but in the autumn, strangely enough, they all take on the same reddish color that you see in the first pictures I took today. It was such a sunny day I wanted to go out and capture some of the colors here. There are not so many differences to see like in Michigan, mainly green, yellow, gold and a rare red.  Further south it does look better but a 4 or 5-hour drive was not in the plan for today. Just a little trip around Poznań to see what we could in colors.

Earlier in the morning, I met with an acquaintance in a renovated room in her house and in it was a beautiful, old bookcase and desk. I commented on how much I liked them and she said they were an interesting story. They belonged to a woman who moved to Germany and didn't want to take them with her so she asked this person's grandfather if he would keep them for her. Time passed and the grandfather died and this person moved the furniture into her house. 45 years later the owner of the furniture contacted her and said she no longer wanted it and wanted it disposed of.  This person made an offer to buy it, the woman accepted it and now she is the new owner.

Na wiosnę hortensje mają wiele kolorów, ale jesienią, o dziwo, wszystkie przybierają ten sam czerwonawy kolor, co widać na pierwszych zdjęciach, które dziś zrobiłem. To był taki słoneczny dzień, że chciałem wyjść i uchwycić niektóre kolory tutaj. Nie ma tak wielu różnic do zobaczenia jak w Michigan, głównie zielony, żółty, złoty i rzadki czerwony. Dalej na południe wygląda lepiej, ale na dziś nie planowano jazdy na 4 lub 5 godzin. Mała podróż po Poznaniu, aby zobaczyć, co możemy w kolorach.

Wcześniej rano spotkałem się ze znajomym w odnowionym pokoju w jej domu, w którym był piękny, stary regał i biurko. Skomentowałem, jak bardzo je lubię, a ona powiedziała, że ​​to interesująca historia. Należały do ​​kobiety, która przeprowadziła się do Niemiec i nie chciała ich ze sobą zabrać, więc poprosiła dziadka tej osoby, czy zatrzyma je dla niej. Czas mijał, a dziadek zmarł, a ta osoba przeniosła meble do swojego domu. 45 lat później właściciel mebli skontaktował się z nią i powiedział, że już go nie chce i chce się go pozbyć. Ta osoba złożyła ofertę zakupu, kobieta przyjęła to i teraz jest nowym właścicielem.
