Problem.

Our Samsung Smart TV isn't so smart anymore. For the last several years we've been saving NFL highlight videos from YouTube to an external drive and then connecting the drive via USB to our TV to see the games on the larger screen. It's been great. That ended this week when all we get is a message, No video file is available. I've tried everything I know of to fix the problem but nothing has worked. I tried searching the internet for an answer but to no avail. So now we are stuck with just TV and the only English speakers are on the news channels for Joan to listen to. All other programs are in Polish or other languages we don't know. I tried 3 different external drives and all had the same result. I don't know if it's a problem with our provider or TV. The drives work fine on my laptop so they are not the problem. I hate electronics when something changes and I don't know how or can't fix the problem.

I talked with a young person(15) today and she told me she is changing schools because doesn't like her teachers or the students there. She will start in her new school on Monday. I thought it was a little strange that she could do it after only being in school for 2 months but she said it was possible if the new school had a place for her and they did. She said her current English class teacher couldn't speak English well and was always making mistakes.  She was also in her 3rd year of German and could only speak her name and how old she was. In her new school, she will be taking Spanish. Her friend from the old school is transferring with her

Nasz telewizor Samsung Smart TV nie jest już tak inteligentny. Od kilku lat zapisujemy filmy z najważniejszymi wydarzeniami NFL z YouTube na zewnętrzny dysk, a następnie podłączamy dysk przez USB do naszego telewizora, aby oglądać gry na większym ekranie. To było świetne. Zakończyło się w tym tygodniu, gdy otrzymujemy tylko wiadomość: Brak pliku wideo. Próbowałem wszystkiego, co wiem, aby rozwiązać problem, ale nic nie działało. Próbowałem poszukać odpowiedzi w Internecie, ale bezskutecznie. Więc teraz utknęliśmy tylko z telewizją i jedynymi użytkownikami języka angielskiego są kanały informacyjne, których Joan może słuchać. Nienawidzę elektroniki, gdy coś się zmienia i nie wiem, jak rozwiązać problem.

Rozmawiałem dzisiaj z młodą osobą (15) i powiedziała mi, że zmienia szkołę, ponieważ nie lubi tam swoich nauczycieli ani uczniów. Zacznie w swojej nowej szkole w poniedziałek. Myślałem, że to trochę dziwne, że mogła to zrobić po tym, jak była w szkole tylko przez 2 miesiące, ale powiedziała, że ​​to możliwe, jeśli nowa szkoła ma dla niej miejsce, a oni to robią. Powiedziała, że ​​jej obecna nauczycielka angielskiego nie mówi dobrze po angielsku i zawsze popełnia błędy. Była także na trzecim roku niemieckiego i mogła mówić tylko jej imię i wiek. W swojej nowej szkole będzie uczyła się hiszpańskiego. Przenosi się z nią jej przyjaciółka ze starej szkoły.
