Last night I had an excellent surprise in my emails received. My great-nephew, Walter IV, wrote to me. I have only been able to watch him grow through pictures on FB but we have not communicated before. He has developed into a very nice young man. He has his own business making videos of weddings and other events. I watched one that was sent to me and it is the best wedding video I have seen. I say that not because he is my nephew but because of the way the video is put together.
Bartosz was here to work with Joan and I made a video of it to send to Karen, Joan's daughter, so she could better understand her mother's condition. They talk each Sunday via Skype but it doesn't really show how Joan struggles with walking and her balance. Karen asked me to keep her informed and I thought a video would be a good idea.
Mariusz, the owner of our flat, came today to fix a minor electrical problem with lights underneath the kitchen cabinets. What a difference between this owner and the previous one. When there is a problem now, I have an almost immediate response and he arrives to fix the problem.
I offered him coffee but he preferred tea, which I, of course, have. He sat and we talked for over an hour on different topics from governments, economies, and life in general. It was a good conversation and I see we have some ideas in common. Joan participated somewhat also.

Anoche tuve una excelente sorpresa en mis correos electr贸nicos recibidos. Mi sobrino nieto, Walter IV, me escribi贸. S贸lo he podido verlo crecer a trav茅s de fotos en FB pero no nos hemos comunicado antes. Se ha convertido en un joven muy agradable. Tiene su propio negocio haciendo videos de bodas y otros eventos. He visto uno que me enviaron y es el mejor v铆deo de boda que he visto. No lo digo porque sea mi sobrino, sino por la forma en que est谩 montado el v铆deo.
Bartosz estuvo aqu铆 para trabajar con Joan y yo hice un v铆deo para envi谩rselo a Karen, la hija de Joan, para que pudiera entender mejor el estado de su madre. Mariusz, el propietario de nuestro piso, ha venido hoy a arreglar un peque帽o problema el茅ctrico con las luces de debajo de los armarios de la cocina. Qu茅 diferencia entre este propietario y el anterior. Cuando hay un problema ahora, tengo una respuesta casi inmediata y 茅l llega para arreglar el problema.
Le ofrec铆 caf茅 pero prefiri贸 t茅, que por supuesto tengo. Se sent贸 y hablamos durante m谩s de una hora sobre diferentes temas, desde gobiernos, econom铆as y la vida en general. Fue una buena conversaci贸n y veo que tenemos algunas ideas en com煤n. Joan tambi茅n particip贸 un poco.
