Today I met with Joanna and for the first half-hour, she searched the internet for the best glucose meter. Acu-check seems the one I should use to check my glucose even though the GP didn't say I should. I think I need to know if the medication is working.
The weather is still miserable, windy, cold, cloudy, and raining.
My conversation with Gosia was very good. We went through the cookbook she gave me and the English version of all the recipes she has used from it and how to make them. Using Skype, I have an oral record of them all so I can make them.
Dziś spotkałem się z Joanną i przez pierwsze pół godziny szukała w internecie najlepszego glukometru. Acu-check wydaje się tym, którym powinnam sprawdzać poziom glukozy, mimo że lekarz nie powiedział, że powinnam. Myślę, że muszę wiedzieć, czy leki działają.
Pogoda jest nadal paskudna, wietrznie, zimno, pochmurno i pada deszcz.
Moja rozmowa z Gosią była bardzo dobra. Przejrzałyśmy książkę kucharską, którą mi dała i angielską wersję wszystkich przepisów, które z niej wykorzystała i jak je wykonać. Dzięki Skype'owi mam je wszystkie zapisane w formie ustnej, więc mogę je wykonać.
Hoy he quedado con Joanna y durante la primera media hora ha buscado en internet el mejor medidor de glucosa. El Acu-check parece ser el que debo usar para comprobar mi glucosa aunque el médico de cabecera no me dijo que lo hiciera. Creo que necesito saber si la medicación está funcionando.
El tiempo sigue siendo miserable, ventoso, frío, nublado y lloviendo.
Mi conversación con Gosia fue muy buena. Repasamos el libro de cocina que me dio y la versión en inglés de todas las recetas que ha utilizado de él y cómo hacerlas. A través de Skype, tengo un registro oral de todas ellas para poder hacerlas.
