Music

Soon enough, I will be starting my 78th year on this planet. I have had the privilege of listening to some truly great musicians. Naturally, being a former guitarist, I listened to Barney Kessel, Kenny Burrell, Johnny Smith, Hank Garland, Jim Hall, and actually met Wes Mongomery and Joe Pass in what was then called, "Old Town", in Chicago. They all inspired me to learn more and practice harder.

However, it wasn't only the jazz guitarist I listened to. The one who inspired me most to choose that instrument was Andres Segovia from Spain. It was because of him that I took up formal study of the classical guitar at DePaul Universities School of Music. That school taught me the most about classical music as well/

My passion for listening to the best players of any instrument led me to Artur Rubenstein,  Pablo Casals,  John Williams, Chick Correa, Joe Zawinul, YoYo Ma, Weather Report, Oregon, and RTF. Those are only a few of the individuals, and groups.

Wszyscy oni zainspirowali mnie do dalszej nauki i cięższej praktyki.

To właśnie dzięki niemu podjąłem formalną naukę gry na gitarze klasycznej w DePaul Universities School of Music. Ta szkoła nauczyła mnie również najwięcej o muzyce klasycznej/.

Moja pasja do słuchania najlepszych graczy na jakimkolwiek instrumencie doprowadziła mnie do Artura Rubensteina, Pablo Casalsa, Johna Williamsa, Chicka Correi, Joe Zawinula, YoYo Ma, Weather Report, Oregonu i RTF. To tylko kilka z tych osób i grup.
