Ice Sculpture Festival

From giant blocks of ice in eight hours, participants in the Poznań Ice Festival competition created real works of art. They are best viewed in the evening when they are illuminated.

This year's competition was won by the pair of Vaclav Lemon and Roman Mikuš, who carved a chameleon. In second place were Michal Mizula and Damian Wisniewski with a dancer, and third place went to transformer authors Ross Baisas, and Angelito Baban.

The competition on Sunday was watched by Ms. Ania and her family. She reveals that she was most impressed by the sculpture of the Ukrainian artists, which depicted a family separated from each other by a wall. - It had the strongest message. It was moving.

Three-year-old Tymek, on the other hand, liked the sculptures still from Saturday's competition. - "A dinosaur and a gentleman with a ball," said the boy.

Trzyletniemu zaś Tymkowi spodobały się rzeźby jeszcze z sobotniego konkursu. - Dinozaur i pan z piłką - mówi chłopiec.
