On September 15, 2023, Russian occupiers abducted Anastasiia and Valerii Saksahanski from their home in the occupied Kherson region.
Their two-year-old daughter, Margarita, was left alone. Anastasiia was found with a gunshot to the head.
Valerii was tortured and killed.
Their “crime”? Refusing Russian passports.
Refusing to serve the occupation.
Choosing Ukraine.
Russia killed them for that.
