Birthday and Mother's Day

Tomorrow is the 66th birthday of my wife Joan.  We have been together more than half of our lives, quite an accomplishment in this day and age.  It's also Mother's Day in Poland so there are two celebrations.  Friday night I will take her to cousin Maciej & Wioletta's restaurant for dinner for the birthday celebration.

The work continues on our building with 3/4 of the first half of our east side now coated with cement over the insulation. By Friday I suppose they will have that completed.  We bought a plastic covering for our table on the balcony so that when the do paint the building we don't end up with a table covered in paint.  I would think they will use spray guns for the painting but you never know.

On three of the international canals we have had full coverage of President Obama's visit to England.  It will be interesting how much coverage they will give to his visit in Poland.

Jutro jest 66 urodzin mojej żony Joan. Jesteśmy razem ponad połowę naszego życia, zupełnie osiągnięciem w tym dniu i wieku. Jest to również Dzień Matki w Polska więc są dwie uroczystości. W piątek wieczorem wezmę jej do restauracji kuzyna Maciej i Wioletta na obiad do obchodów urodzin.

Trwają prace nad naszym budynku z 3 / 4 w pierwszej połowie naszego wschodniej stronie teraz pokryte cementu w izolacji. Do piątku Przypuszczam, że będą mieli ukończone. Kupiliśmy plastikową folię na naszym stole na balkonie tak, że gdy do malowania budynku nie kończy się z tabeli pokryte farbą. Myślę, będą korzystać z pistoletów do malowania, ale nigdy nie wiadomo.

Na trzech międzynarodowych kanałów mieliśmy pełne pokrycie wizyty prezydenta Obamy w Anglii. Ciekawe, ile dadzą zasięg do wizyty w Polska.
