It was the second of two hot days, 33c, but tomorrow it will be back down to 26c.
For those of you reading this in the U.S. you may not have heard the Arctic Circle is warming twice as fast as the rest of the planet, and after the hottest June ever recorded on Earth, the region is literally on fire. From Greenland to Siberia to Alaska, huge swathes of flame and smoke are wrapping themselves around the upper Northern Hemisphere of our planet, like a suffocating scarf.
These are some of the biggest fires on the planet, with a few appearing to be larger than 380 square miles. The amount of CO2 emitted from the fires in June 2019 is larger than all of the CO2 released from the Arctic Circle in the same month from 2010 through 2018 put together.
Now, for the good news. Break out the champagne! I got my first PASS on a pre-exam drivers test today. 30 out of 32 correct answers. I was going to try another one but decided to enjoy this one for the night and try again tomorrow.
Do 2018 r. Razem.
Na dobre wieści. Wyłam szampana! Dostałem swój pierwszy PASS na egzaminie przed egzaminem dzisiaj. 30 z 32 poprawnych odpowiedzi.

Did NOT hear here, re: some of the details of the news re: the Artic,
but have long determined "something" nefarious is going on up there,
re: experimentation in "weather warfare" technology (and all the associated pulses-- e.g. HAARP--etc., that they bombard the atmosphere (and seas/oceans) with; not to speak of the land (re:
commercial fracking=Earth cracking)!
A relative follows the seismological data/maps worldwide, and is not
worried about the San Andreas (though, Montana, where he lives, has been getting more than their 'usual' share of 3-4+ quakes). But, he
IS concerned about the growing upward "domino"-effect activity of the
Cascadia Faultline (I think, Upper CA, into OR, WA, Canada). And, his
concern is more with the fact that, nothing is being mentioned hardly anymore about quake activity in general in this W/NW sector of the U.S. He feels, they "know" something big is happening and do not want to publicize it in "the dailies", so as not to create the panic-factor. Mmmnn….
