Immigration, again.

Yes, yet another one. Today immigration called to tell us the application card we submitted for Joan's new card was not necessary. Because she already had a card she needs to submit an application for renewal of the card. This card will take about 3 months to get instead of 10. This all happened in the morning.

By the afternoon I still didn't have the information where to get a new application so I called the helpline. The girl who called me earlier answered and said she talked to her supervisor and her supervisor said they would make the changes in the immigration office and there was nothing we had to do.  The young lady said she would email the case number and entry code to me so we could follow the case. 10 minutes later I had both. Now it's just a matter of waiting to see if they want additional documents. With that phonecall, the stress of the morning passed into oblivion.

Tak, jeszcze jedno. Dzisiaj zadzwonili z biura ds. imigracji, aby nam powiedzieć, że formularz aplikacyjny, który złożyliśmy, aby otrzymać nową kartę pobytu dla Joanny, nie był konieczny. Ponieważ miała już kartę, musi złożyć wniosek o jej przedłużenie. Otrzymanie tej karty zajmie około 3 miesięcy zamiast 10. To wszystko wydarzyło się rano.

Po południu nadal nie miałem informacji, gdzie mogę uzyskać nowy formularz, więc zadzwoniłem na infolinię. Odpowiedziała dziewczyna, która wcześniej do mnie dzwoniła i powiedziała, że rozmawiała ze swoim przełożonym, a ten powiedział, że wprowadzą zmiany w urzędzie i nic nie musieliśmy robić. Młoda kobieta powiedziała, że wyśle mi e-mail z numerem sprawy i kodem wejściowym, abyśmy mogli śledzić sprawę. 10 minut później miałem oba. Teraz jest tylko kwestia czasu, czy chcą dodatkowe dokumenty. Dzięki tej rozmowie stres poranka poszedł w zapomnienie.
