David, you should get your facts straight before you write it in your blog. The article was written by Andy Borowitz who is the New York Times comedian and has written for The New Yorker since 1998. He writes the Borowitz Report, a satirical column on the news,for newyorker.com. The satire was written in February, 2017. Look it up or if you have maybe you didn't notice the date and it's a satire.

Ann, Thanks for your comment. Yes, I should have fact checked the article before I put it on the blog. My mistake. However, I find it hard to refrain from keeping politics out of the blog all the time when there are so many things done that infuriate me. I didn't think that one was beyond the scope of the dumb things or said already.
