Hoping for sunshine today, but it did not happen. Instead, we had fog all day and into the night. Not being able to go to Golina to visit the graves of ancestors and relatives, We waited until just before dark, then drove the short distance to the local cemetery.
Naturally, even the short distance was crowded with cars and we had to park about four blocks from the cemetery. Even though there was fog, it was nice enough to take the cruise to the cemetery. We arrived just in time as the mass was ending and started our journey around the cemetery taking pictures.
One thing that seemed obvious, there were fewer flowers than in previous years. I think the high inflation we have has even had an effect on people buying flowers. On the oldest graves there were only one or two candles, sometimes flowers, sometimes not.
I could have spent a few hours the but after an hour Joan was tired so we returned home.

Jedna rzecz, kt贸ra wydawa艂a si臋 oczywista, by艂o mniej kwiat贸w ni偶 w poprzednich latach. My艣l臋, 偶e wysoka inflacja, kt贸r膮 mamy, wp艂yn臋艂a nawet na to, 偶e ludzie kupuj膮 kwiaty. Na najstarszych grobach by艂y tylko jeden lub dwa znicze, czasem kwiaty, czasem nie.
Mog艂em sp臋dzi膰 kilka godzin, ale po godzinie Joanna by艂a zm臋czona, wi臋c wr贸cili艣my do domu.
Esperaba que hiciera sol hoy, pero no fue as铆. En cambio, tuvimos niebla todo el d铆a y hasta la noche. Al no poder ir a Golina a visitar las tumbas de los antepasados y familiares, esperamos hasta justo antes de que oscureciera, y luego condujimos la corta distancia hasta el cementerio local.

Llegamos justo a tiempo cuando la misa estaba terminando y comenzamos nuestro recorrido por el cementerio tomando fotos.
Una cosa que parec铆a evidente, hab铆a menos flores que en a帽os anteriores. Creo que la alta inflaci贸n que tenemos ha repercutido incluso en que la gente compre flores. En las tumbas m谩s antiguas s贸lo hab铆a una o dos velas, a veces flores, a veces no.
Podr铆a haber pasado unas cuantas horas, pero despu茅s de una hora Joan estaba cansada, as铆 que volvimos a casa.
