A tour.

A call from the Barahonda bodega and our winery tour is all set for April 2nd at 12:00. We were going to lunch in their restaurant but looking at their menu and prices, I decided against it. Prices are too high. Instead we will have lunch in the town of Yecla at the restaurant La Zaranda. It has more variety in it's menu and lower prices suitable for us. We may not have the panoramic view of the valley but our pocket book will be happier and everything I have read about that restaurant looks good. At this time the weather is predicted to be sunny, subject to change of course. We've been having some cloudy, cool days lately and even some rain. It would be nice if all the days were sunny when the kids are here but we do need the rain.

We talked with Karen this morning and they are having a marvelous time in Barcelona. They wre able to ride the elevator to the top tower of La Sagrada Familia and get fantastic views of the city Plus, they were the only two people on the elevator so they were totally alone on the viewing tower. Today the planned to see the Picasso Museum  and I suggested two mor buildings, of Gaudi, Casa Milla and Palau Guell. Joe had heard of them and already was interested in seeing them.

I met with Pedro this morning for our talk and he gave me the name of 3 more wines to try. He has been busy this week helping a friend plant a new vineyard.

Telefon z Barahonda Bodega i nasza wycieczka do winiarni jest ustalona na 2 kwietnia o 12:00. Zamierzaliśmy pójść na lunch do ich restauracji, ale patrząc na menu i ceny, zdecydowałem się tego nie robić. Ceny są zbyt wysokie. Zamiast tego zjemy obiad w mieście Yecla w restauracji La Zaranda. Menu ma większą różnorodność, ceny są niższe ceny, odpowiednie dla nas. Może nie mamy panoramicznego widoku na dolinę, ale nasza kieszonkowa książka będzie szczęśliwsza i wszystko, co przeczytałem o tej restauracji, wygląda dobrze. Na obecną chwilę przewiduje się, że pogoda będzie słoneczna, z zastrzeżeniem zmiany, oczywiście. Ostatnio mieliśmy trochę pochmurnych, chłodnych dni, a nawet trochę deszczu. Byłoby miło, gdyby wszystkie dni były słoneczne, kiedy dzieci są tutaj, ale potrzebujemy deszczu.

Dziś rano rozmawialiśmy z Karen i wspaniale spędzają czas w Barcelonie. Mogli wjechać windą na najwyższą wieżę La Sagrada Familia i podziwiać fantastyczne widoki na miasto. W windzie były tylko dwie osoby, więc byli całkowicie sami na wieży widokowej. Dzisiaj planowali zobaczyć Muzeum Picassa, a ja zasugerowałem dwa budynki, takie jak Gaudi, Casa Milla i Palau Guell. Joe słyszał o nich i już był zainteresowany ich zobaczeniem.

Dziś rano spotkałem się z Pedro na naszą rozmowę i dał mi 3 kolejne wina do wypróbowania. W tym tygodniu był zajęty pomaganiem przyjacielowi w zakładaniu nowej winnicy.
