Final testing.

I guess I was too frustrated to remember to post this on Tuesday.

We awoke at 8:00, got dressed, packed our bags and went for breakfast by 9:00. We went back to the Cygarnia restaurant because we knew the served breakfast. We didn't know they didn't open until 9:30. So we found another restaurant, Trafik, that was opened for breakfast and Joan and I has scrambled eggs with bacon. When we were done we took the local roads to the clinic in Gdańsk. We arrived 20 minutes early but the diagnostician was there already and she started with Joan on the final testing.

I was asked to pay for the tests but the amount had increased by 400 PLN which I could not agree with. After several discussions and then a call to the owner of the clinic, the original price was settled on and I paid it. Joan was with the diagnostician for 2 hours while I waited in another room and had time to write this much of today's blog. When she is finished, I talked with Illona(diagnostician) and then she will give us her diagnosis of Joan's condition. When that is done, we drove back to Poznań. Fortunately, there is no rain and even a little sunshine between the clouds so driving was better.

Now, today, I am dealing with the computer problems and food shopping. I took the Samsung in to the tech people and after 20 minutes they said the problem was either with the operating system or the hard drive. They could not get beyond the Samsung logo to do anything, like me. They advised to do a new install of Win10 first and that might be the problem. I agreed and they will do it tomorrow. I hope that is the problem. I also asked them to install a new fan because the laptop gets very hot. They said the problem with Samsung is there are so many types of fans it would be better for me to search the internet and order it myself.

We did the weekly shopping//cost 102 PLN.

Obudziliśmy się o 8:00, ubraliśmy, spakowaliśmy torby i poszliśmy na śniadanie o 9:00. Wróciliśmy do restauracji Cygarnia, bo wiedzieliśmy, że podają śniadanie. Nie wiedzieliśmy, że jest czynna od 9:30. Znaleźliśmy inną restaurację, Trafik, która była czynna, a Joan i zjedliśmy jajecznicę na bekonie. Kiedy skończyliśmy, pojechaliśmy lokalnymi drogami do kliniki w Gdańsku. Przybyliśmy 20 minut wcześniej, ale diagnosta już tam był i zaczęła z Joan końcowy test.

Poproszono mnie o opłatę za testy, ale kwota wzrosła do 400 PLN, z czym nie mogłem się zgodzić. Po kilku dyskusjach, a następnie rozmowie z właścicielem kliniki, ustalono pierwotną cenę i zapłaciłem. Joan była z diagnostą 2 godziny, podczas gdy ja czekałam w innym pokoju i miałam czas napisać większość dzisiejszego bloga. Kiedy Joan skończyła, porozmawiałem z Iloną (diagnostą), która następnie przedstawi nam diagnozę stanu Joanny. Kiedy skończyliśmy, pojechaliśmy do Poznania. Na szczęście nie padało, a między chmurami było nawet trochę słońca, więc jazda była lepsza.

Dzisiaj mam do czynienia z problemami z komputerem i zakupami żywności. Zabrałem Samsunga do ludzi z branży technicznej i po 20 minutach powiedzieli mi, że problem dotyczy systemu operacyjnego lub dysku twardego. Nie mogli wyjść poza logo Samsunga, aby zrobić cokolwiek, tak jak ja. Radzili najpierw wykonać nową instalację Win10, a to może być ten problem. Zgodziłem się i zrobią to jutro. Mam nadzieję, że to jest ten problem. Poprosiłem ich również o zainstalowanie nowego wentylatora, ponieważ laptop bardo się przegrzewa. Mówili, że problem z Samsungiem polega na tym, że jest tak wiele rodzajów wentylatorów, że lepiej dla mnie byłoby przeszukać Internet i zamówić go samemu.

Cotygodniowe zakupy zrobiliśmy w kwocie 102 PLN.
