Chinese dinner& Visitors

Yesterday I started off my day saving a young black cat from getting beat up by an older black cat who had him cornered in a fenced-in area across the street from us. I could hear them so I walked across the street and chased away the older cat and while I was doing that the younger cat climbed the fence and sat atop a pillar with nowhere to go. Eventually, he climbed back down and ran away but not before I took some pictures of him.

After our calamari lunch, in the evening at 20:00(8PM), victor came and picked us up to go to Los Alcazares to meet with some of the other members of the international club in the Isidro bar. It was good to see familiar faces again. We sat and talked until about 21:30{9:30PM) and then 8 of us went to the Chinese restaurant for dinner.

This time, because there were only 8 people, we sat at a round table and it was much easier to talk or listen to everyone instead of a long table where access to everyone is limited to where you sit.  A lot of the conversation was in Spanish and I participated whenever I could. Next week Victor won't be able to pick us up but one of the other members volunteered.  Pictures of the group on the right side.

Today, at 13:00(1PM), Carmelo and his wife, Christina, came for a visit and brought a huge bag of oranges from his orchard and a bottle of Olive oil. He told me an interesting story that an Italian company is now buying olive oil from Spain, repackaging it as Italian olive oil and selling it in the United States.

Wiecoraj zacząłem dzień, ratując młodego czarnego kota przed pobiciem przez starszego czarnego kota, który osunął go na ogrodzony teren po drugiej stronie ulicy od nas. Słyszałem je, więc przeszedłem przez ulicę i przepędziłem starszego kota, a gdy to robiłem, młodszy kot wspiął się na ogrodzenie i usiadł na filarze, gdzie nie było dokąd pójść. W końcu zszedł na dół i uciekł, ale zanim zrobiłem mu kilka zdjęć.

Po lunchu z kalmarami wieczorem o 20:00 (20:00) przyszedł zwycięzca i zabrał nas do Los Alcazares, aby spotkać się z innymi członkami międzynarodowego klubu w barze Isidro. Dobrze było znów zobaczyć znajome twarze. Siedzieliśmy i rozmawialiśmy do około 21:30 {21:30), a następnie 8 z nas poszło do chińskiej restauracji na obiad.

Tym razem, ponieważ było tylko 8 osób, usiedliśmy przy okrągłym stole i dużo łatwiej było rozmawiać lub słuchać wszystkich zamiast długiego stołu, gdzie dostęp do wszystkich jest ograniczony do miejsca, w którym siedzisz. Dużo rozmowy odbyło się w języku hiszpańskim i brałem udział, kiedy tylko mogłem. W przyszłym tygodniu Victor nie będzie mógł nas odebrać, ale jeden z pozostałych członków zgłosił się na ochotnika. Dzisiaj, o 13:00 (13:00), Carmelo i jego żona Christina przybyli na wizytę i przynieśli ze swojego sadu wielką torbę pomarańczy oraz butelkę oliwy z oliwek. Opowiedział mi ciekawą historię, że włoska firma kupuje teraz oliwę z Hiszpanii, przepakowuje ją jako włoską oliwę i sprzedaje w Stanach Zjednoczonych.
