Only 3 days into the new year and the idiot from the U.S. is trying to start a war with Iran. Who did Trump consult before committing what will only be interpreted as an act of war against Iran by not just them but U.S. allies? Well, he did not consult any general or any member of the National Security Council when he made the decision to withdraw troops from Syria after speaking to Erdogan on a Sunday afternoon. The danger of this decision cannot be overstated.

There is no functioning National Security Council right now for him to consult nor did he ask the CIA director about this action because there is no CIA Director. The Secretary of Defense has no foreign policy knowledge or experience because he was merely a lobbyist for Boeing before Trump hired him. Mike Pompeo has no knowledge of the dynamics in the middle east because like a trained dog, he sat by as Rudy Giuliani worked on the Ukrainian extortion scheme and he just went along with getting rid of a career diplomat Marie Yavanovitch. He did not stand up for her because Mike Pompeo is a coward who knows just how to kiss Trump's ass to get a cabinet position.

Another tragedy is Australia. Australia is being ravaged by the worst wildfires seen in decades, with large swathes of the country devastated since the fire season began late July. 

A total of 20 people have died nationwide, and in the state of New South Wales alone, more than 1,400 houses have been destroyed. State and federal authorities are struggling to contain the massive blazes, even with firefighting assistance from other countries, including the United States. 

All this has been exacerbated by persistent heat and drought, and many point to climate change as a factor making natural disasters go from bad to worse. That is not the ONLY sign of climate change.

Permafrost at outposts in the Canadian Arctic is thawing 70 years earlier than predicted, an expedition has discovered, in the latest sign that the global climate crisis is accelerating even faster than scientists had feared.

A team from the University of Alaska Fairbanks said they were astounded by how quickly a succession of unusually hot summers had destabilized the upper layers of giant subterranean ice blocks that had been frozen solid for millennia.

Nie można nie docenić niebezpieczeństwa niesionego przez tę decyzji. Nie zapytał to dyrektora CIA, ponieważ nie ma dyrektora CIA. Sekretarz obrony nie ma żadnej wiedzy ani doświadczenia w zakresie polityki zagranicznej, ponieważ był jedynie lobbystą Boeinga, zanim Trump go zatrudnił. Mike Pompeo nie zna dynamiki na Bliskim Wschodzie, ponieważ jak wytrenowany pies, siedział przy Rudy'm Giuliani'm, który pracował nad ukraińskim programem wymuszeń, i po prostu pogodził się z załamaniem kariery dyplomatycznej Marie Yavanovitch. Nie wstawał się za nią, bo Mike Pompeo jest tchórzem, który wie, jak liza tyłek Trumpa, żeby zdobyć pozycję w gabinecie.

Kolejna tragedia to Australia. Australia jest pustoszona przez najgorsze od dziesięcioleci pożary, ogromne połacie kraju zostały zniszczone od czasu rozpoczęcia sezonu pożarowego pod koniec lipca. W całym kraju zginęło w same 20 osób, a samym stanie Nowa Południowa Walia zniszczonych zostało ponad 1,400 domów. Władze stanowe i federalne starają się powstrzymać te masowe pożary, nawet przy pomocy strażaków z innych krajów, w tym ze Stanów Zjednoczonych. Wiele Wskazuje na zmiany klimatyczne jako czynnik powodujący, że klęski żywiołowe stają się coraz gorże.

To nie jest jedyna oznaka zmiany klimatu. Wieczna zmarzlina w kanadyjskiej arktyce topnieje 70 lat wcześniej niż przewidywano, przeprowadzone w ostatnim czasie badania dowodzą, że globalny kryzys klimatyczny przyspiesza jeszcze szybciej niż obawiali się tego naukowcy.  

Zespół z University of Alaska Fairbanks powiedział, że był zdumiony tym, jak szybko seria niezwykle gorących lat zdestabilizowała górne warstwy olbrzymich podziemnych bloków lodowych, które były zamarznięte przez tysiąclecia.
