GO Michigan!

Joan had a "successful" experience with the dentist after a full mouth x-ray of her teeth. One tooth was drilled and filled and she had no pain after the initial shot of novacaine.  It took about 1/2 hour for the treatment and we were out of the office by 11:30. I took the opportunity to make an appointment for myself in 2 weeks.

Still nice weather, so after the novacaine wore off we went to watch the people in front of Empik and have a coffee. It seemed like a good way to spend some time outdoors and observe the human population.  Strange creatures, these humans. No wonder the "aliens" don't want to show themselves to us, seeing what we do to each other. Not to mention what we are doing to the planet that we inhabit.

For entertainment, in the evening we watched our favorite college football team, the University of Michigan, get beat 24-17 in the first game of the new season. It wasn't very entertaining.

 Joan miała "udane" doświadczenie z dentystą po pełnym prześwietleniu zębów. Jeden ząb został zaplombowany, a po wcześniejszym zastrzyku z nowokainy nie odczuwała bólu. Leczenie zajęło około 1/2 godziny, a my byliśmy poza gabinetem przed 11:30. Skorzystałem z okazji, aby umówić się na spotkanie w ciągu 2 tygodni.

Wciąż ładna pogoda, więc jak działanie nowokainy ustąpiło poszliśmy oglądać ludzi przed Empikiem i wypić kawę. Wydawało się, że obserwowanie populacji ludzkiej jest dobrym sposobem na spędzenie czasu na świeżym powietrzu i. Ludzie to dziwne stworzenia. Nic dziwnego, że "obcy" nie chcą się nam pokazać, widząc, co ze sobą robimy. Nie wspominając już o tym, co robimy na planecie, którą zamieszkujemy.

Wieczorem, dla rozrywki, obejrzeliśmy naszą ulubioną drużynę piłkarską, University of Michigan, w pierwszej grze nowego sezonu. To nie było bardzo zabawne.
