Repetition.

It is not a day to be forgotten, nor are September 1st, 1939, December 7th, 1941 and other dates for countrymen and women of their respective countries. Maybe what should also be remembered is that there have always been dangerous times in the world. Violence and war in this world has been part of it's history since Cain killed his brother, Abel.  It has not changed since then, only escalated. Millions have died for peace yet we have none. I don't see an end to it.

After writing this blog every day for the last 11 years it's hard not to repeat an old topic and for that I apologize. I don't like reading the same thing over and over again either.

However, here we go again. I just came back from the apteka where I got my refill of the meds I must take everyday. It's a 3 month supply of 3 different ones and the TOTAL cost was 43.98PLN($12). That's $4 a month folks. One med, Propranolol, 50 tablets, costs $75 in the U.S. I bought the same here for $1.86.

Nie jest to dzień, o którym można zapomnieć, tak samo jak nie o 1. września 1939 r., czy o 7. grudnia 1941 r., jak i o innych datach istotnych dla rodaków i kobiet w ich krajach. Być może należy również pamiętać, że na świecie zawsze istniały niebezpieczne czasy. Przemoc i wojna na tym świecie były częścią jego historii, odkąd Kain zabił swojego brata Abla. Od tamtej pory nic się nie zmieniło, tylko eskalowało. Miliony giną dla pokoju, ale żadnego nie mamy. Nie widzę końca tego.

Podczas codziennego pisania tego bloga przez ostatnie 11 lat trudno nie powtarzać starego tematu i za to przepraszam. Nie lubię w kółko czytać tego samego.

Wróćmy do dnia dzisiejszego. Właśnie wróciłem z apteki, gdzie otrzymałem mój zapas medykamentów, które muszę brać codziennie. Jest to 3-miesięczne zaopatrzenie w 3 różne leki których całkowity koszt wyniósł 43,98PLN (12 USD). To 4 dolary na miesiąc. Jeden lek, Propranolol, 50 tabletek kosztuje 75 USD z Stanach. Tu kupiłem to samo za 1,86 USD.
