Some of history’s greatest artists were present (Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Band, The Who, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Joni Mitchell, Ritchie Havens, and many more). There have been several reincarnations of the festival over the years, but none captured the same magic.
I had a new baby boy and could not go. Joan was taking care of her two very young children and couldn't go either, That was the generation we belonged to and under different circumstances, we would have been there also.
