Voting time.

A week from today cousin Amy from California will be here for a visit for the first time. Unfortunately the weather has turned and now were headed into gray days with rain instead of sunshine. Maybe by the time she gets here the sun might peak through.

Radek and I are working on phrasal verbs now in Spanish and they are interesting to learn. Like English, putting two verbs together changes their meaning and you can only memorize what it means. There are no rules to govern it. It's going to take some time and study to get them into my brain but I will.

This weekend is the big election of local governmental offices in Poland, a case of the PiS party versus the PO party as usual. Similar to the Democrats versus the Republicans in the U.S.. The PiS party would be the Republicans.

Tydzień od dziś Amy z Kalifornii będzie tu po raz pierwszy. Niestety pogoda została odrzucona. Być może zanim dotrze tutaj, słońce może osiągnąć szczyt.


Radek i ja pracujemy nad czasownikami frazowymi teraz po hiszpańsku i są interesujące do nauczenia się. Podobnie jak angielski, wprowadzając dwa czasowniki razem zmian. Nie ma żadnych zasad, które by go regulowały. To zajmie trochę czasu i przestanie je badać, ale ja to zrobię.


W ten weekend odbywają się duże wybory do urzędów samorządowych w Polsce, a także sprawa partii PiS kontra partia PO jak zwykle. Podobnie jak Demokraci kontra Republikanie w USA ... Partią PiS byliby Republikanie.
