Most Significant.

Congratulations to our cousin, Makenzie Rajewski, who was named "The Most Significant Player" by her college volleyball teammates this year. She attends Alma College. Alma College is a private liberal arts college in Alma, Michigan.   She worked hard all season, through her leg cramps and asthma. Both her and her sister, Mallory, play volleyball in colleges.

Our granddaughter, Nikki, played in a classical guitar recital last night at the college she goes to. Her mother sent us some pictures of her playing and using my old classical guitar. What a joy it was to see it being used by her. She is really a talented young girl growing into a woman. Her talent is not only in music but in drawing also. I saw a drawing she made once od Kevin Spacey and he was easily recognizable. I don't know what choice she will make for her future but I hope it is one that will utilize her talent and not just a "drone" job. The world is full of those kind of people and she is too intelligent to be one of them. Pictures on the right of this blog.

Gratulacje dla naszej kuzynki, Makenzi Rajewski, która w tym roku została uznana przez jej koleżanki z drużyn z siatkówki za "Najbardziej znaczącego gracza". Uczęszcza do Alma College. Alma College to prywatna wyższa szkoła sztuk pięknych w Alma w stanie Michigan. Przez cały sezon ciężko pracowała, przez aż do skurczu nóg i astmy. Zarówno ona, jak i jej siostra Mallory, grają w siatkówkę w szkołach wyższych.

Wczoraj wieczorem nasza wnuczka Nikki grała w klasycznym recitalu gitarowym w college'u, do którego chodzi. Matka wysłała nam kilka zdjęć z jej grania, kiedy korzystała z mojej starej gitary klasycznej. Cóż za radość, gdy zobaczyłem, że jest przez nią wykorzystywana. Jest naprawdę utalentowaną młodą dziewczyną wyrastającą na kobietę. Jej talent to nie tylko muzyka, ale także rysunek. Widziałem portret Kevina Spacey’a, który kiedyś zrobiła i który był na nim łatwo rozpoznawalny. Nie wiem, jaką przyszłość dla siebie wybierze, ale mam nadzieję, że wykorzysta swój talent. Świat jest pełen takich ludzi, a ona jest tak inteligentna, aby być jedną z nich. Zdjęcia po prawej stronie tego bloga.
