Computers.

It's a funny feeling about computers, you so use to using one and then when something goes wrong that you don't know how to fix yourself, it irritates and frustrates you. That's my experience today with my main laptop, a Samsung. For some time now it's been overheating and turning off at any moment. I have a small program that check's it's temperature and when it reaches 90c, from that point it shuts off at any time. I've tried a "home remedy" of putting an ice cube tray below it to keep the temperature down. Sometimes it works and some not. Therefore, today I took it in to a shop to have it checked over and repairs made to it.  Now I'm using my backup laptop, an ASUS laptop, but it is so slow it also frustrates me. It's about 6 years old but doesn't overheat. it's just that when using Skype, people view me upside down. :=).

Bartosz was here at 11:00 and worked on exercises and walking with Joan. It's hard to break her habit of making small steps. She has enough exercises to do each day and walking is more of the concentration now.  For a surprise for her, I stopped on the way back from the repair shop and bought 2 pieces of one of her favorite cakes, Pralinowy(Chocolate) cake. Restrictions being lifted today in Poland, they are open again. The sales staff was happy to see me and asked about Joan.

During my trip across town to the repair shop and back, I observed new buildings going up, repairs on some roads, and a few new roads. Construction is in full swing now. However, there were far too many not wearing masks or observing social distance. I suppose it is like that in all countries and I think this pandemic is far from over. Soon we will reach 1,000 deaths in Poland.

Zabawne jest nastawienie do komputerów, kiedy któregoś używasz i kiedy coś pójdzie nie tak, a ty nie wiesz jak naprawić, to cię to irytuje i frustruje. Takie jest moje dzisiejsze doświadczenie z głównym laptopem, Samsungiem. Od jakiegoś czasu przegrzewa się i wyłącza w każdej chwili. Mam mały program, który sprawdza jego temperaturę i kiedy osiągnie 90C, wyłącza się. Wypróbowałem "domowy środek zaradczy" polegający na umieszczeniu pod nim pojemnika z kostkami lodu, aby utrzymać niską temperaturę. Czasami to działa, a czasami nie. Dlatego dziś zabrałem go do serwisu, aby sprawdzić i naprawić. Teraz używam mojego laptopa do tworzenia kopii zapasowych, laptopa firmy ASUS, ale jest on tak powolny, że mnie też to frustruje. Ma około 6 lat, ale nie przegrzewa się. Tylko, że kiedy używam Skype'a, ludzie widzą mnie do góry nogami. :=).

Bartosz był o 11:00 i pracował nad ćwiczeniami i chodzeniem z Joan. Ciężko jest przełamać jej nawyk robienia małych kroków. Ma wystarczająco dużo ćwiczeń w każdym dniu, stąd większa koncentracja na chodzeniu. Na drodze powrotnej z serwisu, aby zrobić Joan niespodziankę, zatrzymałem się i kupiłem 2 kawałki jednego z jej ulubionych pralinowych ciastek. Po dzisiejszym zniesieniu ograniczeń w Polsce, cukiernie są znowu otwarte. Sprzedawca ucieszył się, że mnie widzi i zapytał o Joan.

W czasie mojej podróży przez miasto do serwisu i z powrotem, obserwowałem nowe budynki, remonty na niektórych drogach i kilka nowych dróg. Budowa jest teraz w pełnym rozkwicie. Jednak zbyt wiele osób nie nosiło masek ani nie zachowywało społecznego dystansu. Przypuszczam, że tak jest we wszystkich krajach i myślę, że ta pandemia jest jeszcze daleka od zakończenia. Wkrótce w Polsce osiągniemy 1000 zgonów.

Esta es mi experiencia con la computadora portátil principal de hoy, Samsung. Durante algún tiempo, se sobrecalienta y se apaga en cualquier momento. Tengo un pequeño programa que verifica su temperatura y se apaga cuando alcanza los 90 ° C. Probé el "remedio casero" colocando un recipiente con cubitos de hielo debajo para mantener la temperatura baja. A veces funciona y a veces no. Es por eso que hoy lo llevé al sitio para verificarlo y arreglarlo. Ahora uso mi computadora portátil como respaldo, la computadora portátil ASUS, pero es tan lenta que también me frustra. Tiene aproximadamente 6 años, pero no se sobrecalienta. Solo cuando uso Skype, la gente puede verme al revés. : =).

Bartosz estaba a las 11:00 y estaba trabajando en ejercicios y caminando con Joan. Es difícil romper su hábito de dar pequeños pasos. Tiene suficiente ejercicio todos los días, por lo tanto, una mayor concentración al caminar. En el camino de regreso del sitio para sorprender a Joan, me detuve y compré 2 piezas de uno de sus pasteles de praliné favoritos. Después del levantamiento de las restricciones en Polonia, las confiterías están nuevamente abiertas. El vendedor se alegró de verme y me preguntó por Joan.

Durante mi viaje por la ciudad al servicio y de regreso, observé nuevos edificios, renovaciones en algunos equipos y varias carreteras nuevas. La construcción está en pleno apogeo ahora. Sin embargo, demasiadas personas no usaban máscaras o distancias sociales. Supongo que este es el caso en todos los países y creo que esta pandemia aún está lejos de terminar. Pronto lograremos 1,000 muertes en Polonia.
