Booked.

So, the flight to Paris is booked for Sept. 12th. I used Airbnb to get a room in a private flat in Versailles for 3 nights, the car is rented to get us to Versailles and back and I just purchased the tickets with audio guide, online, that will eliminate waiting in a long line to get into the palace and the whole estate. September will be a good time to go, less children but I'm sure still many tourists. That's why I chose the online tickets with timed entry. It allows us to enter the palace within 1/2 hour after we arrive instead of waiting in a long line. Plus with a Passport ticket we have access to many of the rooms in the palace, the Hall of Mirrors, the Estate of Trianon,  The Coach Gallery and the 250 acres of Gardens. One day is not enough time to see it all but we will see as much as we can and take a lot of pictures. I'm excited.

Today and this week the heat will be unbearable, 30c+ all week. Already the goldenrod is blossoming, a sure sign that Autumn is not far away. This year we have only 2 countries that we can say we visited, Spain and France. It has been a slow year.

Zatem lot do Paryża jest zarezerwowany na 12 września. Użyłem Airbnb, aby wynająć pokój na 3 noce w prywatnym mieszkaniu w Wersalu, samochód jest wynajęty, aby dostać się do Wersalu i z powrotem, a ja po prostu kupiłem bilety z przewodnikiem audio online, który wyeliminuje czekanie w długiej kolejce, aby dostać się do pałacu i całej posiadłości. Wrzesień to dobry czas na wyjazd, mniej dzieci, ale jestem pewien, że wciąż jest wielu turystów. Dlatego wybrałem bilety online z  wejściem na określoną godzinę. Pozwala nam wejść do pałacu w ciągu pół godziny po przybyciu, zamiast czekać w długiej kolejce. Dodatkowo z karnetem mamy dostęp do wielu pokoi w pałacu, sali luster, posiadłości Trianon, galerii trenerów i 250 akrów ogrodów. Jeden dzień to za mało czasu, żeby to wszystko zobaczyć, ale zobaczymy jak najwięcej i zrobimy dużo zdjęć. Jestem podekscytowany.

Dzisiaj i w tym tygodniu upał będzie nie do zniesienia; + 30C przez cały tydzień. Już kwitnie nawłoć, co jest pewnym znakiem, że jesień nie jest odległa. W tym roku mamy tylko 2 kraje, o których możemy powiedzieć, że odwiedziliśmy: Hiszpania i Francja. To jest niemrawy rok.
