Almost 80F, totally sunny and the jets from the training base are playing in the sky above us. They form circles, fly in groups of 7 or 3, release gas so you can see their trails and 2 even made a heart in the sky. It's more like entertainment for tourists than actual military exercises. The sun penetrates your clothing, even a white t-shirt can't deflect the rays.

The flowers in our yard are all opening or opened up and even the bird of paradise has another bloom. I couldn't help but take some pictures of them. The rosebush is only partially opened and still has many more roses waiting to open.

On days like today it is almost impossible to just stay indoors even if it means just sitting at a café with a cup of coffee for a few hours watching the people. Carmen joined us this morning and brought us some oil I wanted to try. She just came back from Alicante for a doctors appointment and will return later. Her and her husband Jay plan to do some sailing on the boat this weekend out of the Alicante harbor.

To bardziej rozrywka dla turystów niż rzeczywiste ćwiczenia wojskowe. Słońce przenika przez ubranie, nawet biała koszulka nie może odbić promieni.

Kwiaty na naszym podwórku kwitną lub zaczynają kwitnąć, a nawet strelicja ma kolejny kwiat. Nie mogłem się powstrzymać od zrobienia kilku zdjęć. Krzew róży jest tylko częściowo kwitnie i nadal ma wiele pąków czekających na otwarcie.

W takie dni jak dzisiaj jest prawie niemożliwe, aby pozostać w domu, nawet jeśli oznacza to po prostu posiedzenie w kawiarni przez kilka godzin przy filiżance kawy i oglądanie ludzi. Carmen dołączyła do nas dziś rano i przyniosła nam trochę oliwy, której chciałem spróbować. Właśnie wróciła z Alicante z wizyty u lekarza i wróci później. Ona i jej mąż Jay planują w ten weekend wypłynąć łodzią z portu w Alicante
