AH, coffee.

Yes, another good 27c day. I had a nice meeting via Skype with Carmelo for an hour and a half and then afterwards Joan and I went to Empik in the center. It's become a second favorite place to go for coffee and people watch, plus it has  a nice view of Plac Wolności. The seats are comfortable enough and there are always people coming and going. What I like about it is the fact that the coffee tastes like coffee. In too many places, including Sowa's, it's like brown water with a hint of coffee taste. I call it "swill". Like, they swill out the coffee by pouring large amounts of water over it. YUK!

We sat for about an hour until some dark clouds rolled in and then went home because we left the windows open and it looked like it was going to rain and we had clothes drying on the balcony. Just before we arrived home it started and we manged to get them inside before they got too wet. I paid the water bill for the month,72.49PLN($19), the phone bill,119PLN($32) and then downloaded the VLC audio player to my laptop. This software will allow me to listen to podcasts and slowdown the speed of the speaker making it easier for me to understand Spanish and Polish podcasts. It will also work for videos.

Tak, kolejny dobry dzień 27c. Miałem fajne spotkanie przez Skype z Carmelo przez godzinę. Joan i ja poszliśmy do Empik w centrum. To drugie miejsce, w którym można wypić kawę i oglądać ludzi, a także ma ładny widok na Plac Wolności. Fotele są wygodne i nadchodzą. Co lubię w kawie. W zbyt wielu miejscach, w tym w Sowa, jest jak brązowa woda z nutą smaku kawy. Nazywam to "pomyj". Na przykład wylewają kawę, dolewając jej dużej ilości wody. YUK!

Usiedliśmy, żeby zobaczyć, jak to jest. Tuż przed przybyciem do domu zaczęło się zamoczyć. Zapłaciłem rachunek za wodę w wysokości 72,49PLN (19 USD), rachunek za telefon, 119 PLN (32 USD), a następnie załadowałem odtwarzacz audio VLC na mój laptop. To oprogramowanie pozwoli ci słuchać hiszpańskich i polskich podcastów. Będzie również działać w przypadku filmów.
