Day
3...Poland wedding! We had a very relaxing day! Met our Polish family
at their house at 10:00am for a trip to the beach....we all got a
little healthy sun!! Put our feet in the lake and just relaxed on lawn
chairs with a couple "piwo"! (Beer). I had a special lawn
chair....Zywiec is a Polish beer 🍻!
On the way back, they showed us an American military base in the area
(picture of me and Kuba)! We went back to the house for a late lunch
and stayed til evening...saying goodbye to this beautiful family was
very hard!! We all love them ❤️‼️. Today on to Krakow for more adventures! All for now..breakfast will be here soon!
·
Krakow....market square, cloth hall...old town! My favorite...
It
could have been a challenge, but we have our chief "suitcase engineer"
(Kim) and she always comes through....6 big suitcases, 6 backpacks and
purses---WHEW!! And the "Gramma seat"!

Yesterday
was a driving day...left Zakopane after having coffee with our cousins!
The bride and groom were in the mountains for wedding photos! We
traveled approximately 7 hrs from Zakopane to Poznan....through some of
the neatest little villages!! Arrived in Poznan in time to have a very
late dinner with cousins....including, David, who moved to Poland from
Chicago after retirement! I think about 11 yrs now.....correct me if
I'm wrong, David!! Today, on to Berlin for a soccer game!! Time is
getting short now! Wonderful trip...loving every minute!!
Friday night in Poznan...cool city and "old town"!·
Oh, my gosh..... soccer game in Berlin!!! AWESOME!! What an experience!! So cool!
Kim.....styling in her new coat from Germany!!
Sunday
in Berlin!!!! First I want to thank my kids/grandkids for walking
"slow" so I could keep up on our 7 hour walking tour through Berlin with
grandson, Ben, as our guide with all the historical facts!! Including
seeing a piece of the East/West Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie,
Brandenburg Gate, Jewish Synagogue, Reichstag (government building), a
monument dedicated to the local people persecuted during the war and so
much more, like happening upon a little local festival and dancing in
the local park of another area!! Ended our day with a wonderful dinner!
My Checkpoint Charlie passport stamp! Now leaving Berlin for NY, on to Detroit and Home Sweet Home!!
Fabulous Vacation!!!!

Good looking relations, David, and an adventurous group.
They certainly enjoyed a marvelous Euro trip they'll long-
