Poznan meeting

Yes, a meeting last night in Poznań with the Dittenber family from Michigan, Darren, Kim, Blake, Bree and Ben, plus Kim's mother, Marilyn and Chiara and Vivien Bekalarek with their boyfriends. It has been years since I saw the 2 Bekalarek sisters and they have grown so much and speak English so much better. I was able to talk with Vivien a lot in Polish and it was good practice for me. They couldn't believe we have lived in Poland for 11 years already. They all ordered dinner but I just had water and coffee because I had eaten dinner earlier. Joan stayed at home for this meeting. She was a little tired.

I enjoyed finally meeting the young adults of the Dittenbers. I've been watching them grow up on FB for 10 years and this was our first face to face meeting. I asked how they liked Poland and they said they liked it very much and want to return, Last night they spent in Poznań and today they drive to Berlin to watch a football match. They leave for home on Sunday.

Tak, wczorajsze spotkanie w Poznaniu z rodziną Dittenberów z Michigan, Darrenem, Kimem, Blake, Bree i Benem oraz matką Kima, Marilyn i Chiarą oraz Vivien Bekalarek z ich chłopakami. Minęły lata odkąd widziałem 2 siostry Bekalarek i tak bardzo się rozrosły i mówią lepiej po angielsku. Dużo rozmawiałem z Vivien po polsku i to była dla mnie dobra praktyka. Nie mogli uwierzyć, że mieszkamy w Polsce już 11 lat. Wszyscy zamówili obiad, ale po prostu miałem wodę i kawę, bo wcześniej zjadłem obiad. Joan została w domu na tym spotkaniu. Była trochę zmęczona.

Podobało mi się wreszcie spotkanie z młodymi dorosłymi z Dittenbers. Obserwowałem, jak dorosną na FB przez 10 lat i to było nasze pierwsze spotkanie twarzą w twarz. Zapytałem, jak polubili Polskę i powiedzieli, że bardzo im się podobają i chcą wrócić.Wczoraj wieczorem spędzili w Poznaniu i dzisiaj jeżdżą do Berlina, aby obejrzeć mecz piłki nożnej. W niedzielę wychodzą do domu.
