OH NOOOOOooooooo!!

Today I realized that we have only 5 weeks to pack everything we're sending. We have 8 boxes packed already but there is so much more to look through. Last Friday, on a day off from work, I was able to buy those little polystyrene packing "peanuts" from the place I bought our boxes. I bought two bags but the bags were so big I couldn't get them into my car and I had to have them delivered. But they come in handy for packing glass and anything else that's breakable. Today we packed our winter clothes, some glasses, 3 containers of wooden boxes I used to make when we had our woodworking business and all of the CD's I've made. Next weekend we're going to concetrate packing the things in the kitchen and only leave the bare necessities.

I had some good news today that the mother of Joan's son Joey's fiancee will buy our car and not take possession of it until we leave. That's a big headache out of the way.

Our small apartment is getting smaller and smaller each week with the accumulation of the packed boxes plus the bags of "peanuts". You can get some idea of the size of the bag and this one is only two-thirds full.

We had our weekly Polish lesson and Tadeusz, our teacher, told Joan her pronunciation was getting better. Good news.

Dzisiaj zdałem sobie sprawę, że mamy tylko 5 tygodni by zapakować wszystko, co wysyłamy. Mamy 8 pudełek zapakowane już ale tam są tyle więcej by przejrzeć. W zeszły piątek, na dniu wolnym od pracy, mogłem kupić tym małemu polistyrenowi pakującemu "orzechy ziemne" od miejsca, które kupiłem naszym pudełkom. Kupiłem dwie torby ale torby były tak duże nie mógłbym dostać ich do mojego samochodu i musiałem kazać {mieć} ich dostarczony. Ale oni są użytecznym dla pakowania szkła i coś innego, które jest łamliwe. Dzisiaj zapakowaliśmy nasze zimowe ubranie, kilka sklanek, 3 pojemniki drewnianych pudełek, które zwykłem zrobić kiedy mieliśmy nasz biznes obróbki drzewnej i wszystko z CD zrobiłem. Następny weekend mamy skoncentrować pakowanie rzeczy w kuchni i tylko zostawić nagie potrzeby.
Miałem kilka dobra wiadomość dzisiaj, że matka syna Joan Joey narzeczona kupi nasz samochód i nie weźmie posiadanie tego aż będziemy wyruszać. To jest duży ból głowy nie po drodze.
Nasz mały apartament dostaje się mniejszy i mniejszy każdego tygodnia z akumulacją zapakowanych pudełek plus mnóstwo "orzechy ziemne". Możesz dostać trochę idei rozmiaru torby i tego człowiek jest tylko dwa trzecie pełne.
Mieliśmy naszą tygodniową polską lekcję i Tadeusz, naszego nauczyciela, powiedzieliśmy Joan, że jej wymowa dostawała się lepiej. Dobra wiadomość.
