Update

So....here we are. Next weekend we return to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for a Bon Voyage party given for us from our neighbors and friends from when we lived there. It will be good to see them all again. We shared so many good and bad times together that our bond is still strong and I was happy that they would want to do this for us.

We all shared in the same experience of building our own houses, deep in the forest, without the luxury of electricity, running water, air conditioning, central heating and for me this was the best, though most strenuous, time.

Now we embark on a new adventure.................... to Poland. We will have electricity, running water, central heating, no air conditioning and it will be strenuous at times with the language difference, but I know we can conquer this problem. I don't believe the saying that you "can't teach old dogs new tricks". I think it depends on the "dog" and how much he wants to learn and Joan and I want very much to learn.

We have packed more boxes, bought new boxes of a smaller size to put our glass things into and, in general, continue with our plan. We have a few "reasons" why we should not make this move but they have not stopped our plan. The rate of money exchange is one one of them and the condition of the Medical situation in Poland is the other. But life is for living and we want to live it to it's fullest while we can.


Jesteśmy. Następny weekend wracamy do Wyższego Półwyspu Michigan dla Dobrej Podróży partii danej dla nas od naszych sąsiadów i przyjaciół od kiedy żyliśmy tam. To będzie dobre by zobaczyć ich wszystkie znowu. Podzieliliśmy tak dużo dobra i przykre doświadczenia razem, że nasza obligacja jest jeszcze silna i byłem szczęśliwy, że oni chcieliby robić to dla nas.
My, których wszystek podzielił w tym samym doświadczeniu budowy naszych własnych domów, głęboko w lesie, bez luksusu elektryczności, wody bieżącej, klimatyzacji, centralne ogrzewanie i dla mnie to było najlepsze, chociaż najbardziej pracowite, czas.
Teraz zaczynamy nową przygodę.................... do Polski. Będziemy mieć elektryczność, wodę bieżącą, centralne ogrzewanie, żadna klimatyzacja i to będzie pracowite czasami z różnicą języka , ale wiem, że możemy zdobyć ten problem. Nie wierzę powiedzenia, że "nie możesz nauczyć starym psom nowych sztuczek". Myślę, że to zależy od "psa" i ile on chce nauczyć się i Joan i ja chcę bardzo by nauczyć się.
Zapakowaliśmy więcej pudełek, kupiliśmy nowe pudełka mniejszego rozmiaru by położyć nasze rzeczy szkła do i, w ogóle, trwać z naszym planem. Mamy kilka "powodów" dlaczego nie powinniśmy zrobić tego ruchu ale oni nie zatrzymali naszego planu. Tempo wymiany pieniędzy jest jedna jeden z nich i warunek Medycznej sytuacji w Polsce jest inny. Ale życie jest dla życia i chcemy żyć to do tego są najpełniejszy podczas gdy możemy.
