Shocking!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today, Sunday our boxes arrived at our apartment. It's shocking because very few people work on Sundays but they called last night and said they would deliver them today and they did, about noon. So now we have everything we shipped and we only had 4 glass items broken. I think that's good considering we did the packing and they did travel 5000 miles to get her. So while I worked building the szafka, Joan started unpacking boxes. It was kinda like Christmas because we didn't remember what was in each box so it was surpise, surprise.

Hi David and Joan,
It is very nice to see your new place, it is very cute and neat. How are you guys doing with the food? Do you cook polish or american? Are you able to get any american type of food, or similar? You may think it is funny question, but me living in another country I miss the polish food a great time.
Regards
Emilia
Hi Emilia,
Right now were cooking American with Polish food. The food is different, well, maybe not different, it's just that it has more taste. The tomatoes taste like a tomoato, very juicy. The ham is not comparable to American Polish ham, here the taste is much better. I think most of the food is better here. We haven't really gotten into Polish cooking yet as we are always busy trying to get our house in order and just make whatever is qucik so we can get back to work. That will change once we are setup. Right now it's our priority to setup house and eating is only a necessity to continue working. We still have to but a clothes washer, drying rack and a few more shelving units to accomidate the things we sent to Poland before we left. Right now we are trying to figure out what to so with the many family pictures we have..I envisioned a wall where all pictures would be hung but we cannot put anything on the walls according to the owner of this flat. We didn't rent from a real estate agent but from a private owner and those are her rules.
Thanks for following our story, I hope you are enjoying it.
David
