Neighborhood

A walk around the neighborhood of Luka's is always interesting for the different shades of color they use in Poland for house painting, kinda like pastel colors.

Dave and Joan,

Congratulations. You made it. Haven't been keeping up with the blog. Have been busy working at the Senior Center flipping pancakes for our Sturgis Rally biker breakfast. 8 days of pancake batter. All is well here. The buildings in your photos are very familiar. Most of the European contries have similar architecture. Will be in touch. Ron

Hi Dave,
It is Emilia here, I am glad to hear you guys made is safe. It looks like great area where you are staying. I read about the phone calls being so expensive. I would like to give you some tip. Did you try/ hear of WDT, I think their website is mywdt.com. I use them here in Cincinnati I pay 3 cents per minute to Poland, but the most interesting thinkg was that this company based out of Chicago, generated number for me in Poland, Warsaw. My family calls the number in Warsaw, and then they connect with me. They pay local call cost and I pay 3 cents. I think it is a great idea, and anybody can get a hold of me at any time just like i would be living next door. Check it out Dave, I like the company and strongly recomend them. Let me know if you have any questions. Regards Emilia.
