New pastry.

Another day of cold temperatures but we managed to get to Kandulsk's anyhow :-)  They had a new pastry available, a makowiec based roll with cherry in the center and covered with chocolate.  I just had to try it.  Joan had Tartinka Brulle which is something like a small cherry pie.  We just love Wednesdays :-)  That's the highlight each week for this day.  It's  kind of like when I was a child and we had baked chicken on Sundays but now we can change the pastry each week.  At this rate, I'll be 100 kilos soon :-)  Not Really!!  I won't allow that to happen.

Next year is Euro 2012 and it has so much impact on Poznań that the universities will finish their year earlier and start later.  The reason being that the dormatories are empty when the schools are out and they will use them to house whatever tourists come for the games but can't find a hotel.  During a normal tourist season there are enough hotel rooms available but next year will see a huge increase of people coming to Poznań for the games so this is the solution to the problem.

Kolejny dzień niskich temperatur, ale udało nam się dotrzeć do :-) zresztą Kandulsk's Mieli nowe ciasto dostępne, makowiec w oparciu roll z wiśni w centrum i pokryte czekoladą. Po prostu musiałem spróbować. Joan miała Tartinka Brulle który jest czymś w rodzaju małych pie wiśni. Po prostu kochamy środy :-) To jest podkreślenie w każdym tygodniu na ten dzień. To trochę jak wtedy, gdy byłem dzieckiem, mieliśmy pieczonego kurczaka w niedziele, ale teraz możemy zmienić ciasto w każdym tygodniu. W tym tempie, będę tylko 100 kg :-) Nie Naprawdę! Nie będę do tego dopuścić.


Przyszły rok jest Euro 2012 i ma tak wielki wpływ na to, że uniwersytety Poznaniu zakończy się rok wcześniej i zaczyna się później. Wynika to z faktu, że dormatories są puste, gdy w szkołach są obecnie i będą korzystać z nich do domu, co turyści przyjeżdżają do gry, ale nie może znaleźć hotel. Podczas normalnego sezonu turystycznego istnieje wystarczająco dużo pokojach hotelowych dostępne, ale w przyszłym roku będzie widać ogromny wzrost osób przyjeżdżających do Poznania do gry, więc to jest rozwiązanie problemu.
